For compilers using their own source code MQ2Melee requires MQ2BagWindow and the associated files.
MQ2BagWindow must be added to your compile as a plugin
moveitem.h must be copied to your root MQ2 source code folder.
MQUI_BagWnd.xml must be copied to your everquest/uifiles/default folder or custom ui folder.

Would be AMAZING additions to this plugin for berserkers.

Slap in the face, Overpowering Frenzy and Overwhelming Frenzy look possible.

Can these be used when you have a normal 2hs equipped? I am asking because Slap in the face = hand to hand skill and Overwhelming Frenzy = 2 hand pierce skill?

Paladins get a discipline Righteous Indignation 2 minute melee "Strike" ability should be integrated into autouse option if possible.

Paladins also get Crush of Marr a large hate + small hate DD reuse of 12 seconds on force of marr timer.

On big request for pal and shd would be to integrate with EQmlee would be the discipline Defy. (Older version named Withstand) it's a 15 sec reuse large melee mitigation effect.

Withstand, Defy and Righteous Indignation very doable.

The Crush line of stuns have a couple of things working against them. 2 stuns are already supported. For pallys its the stun aa and Force line of spells. Also the fact the Crush line is on the same timer as the Force line could cause issues.

Can you incorporate the playing possum FD for beastlords at a certain % for health? I know the monk class has it, Was just curious if it was possible.

there is also some new melee skills coming out for beastlords as well.

Flurry of claws is one of them i dont have any other ones yet.

Yes, these abilities are used regardless of what weapon you have equipped. Similar to how Volley is a throwing skill check but works at close range.

Vigorous Shuriken, Vigorous Axe, Vigorous Dagger added to do list.

Shared Bloodlust has some weirdness associated with it. That said I will revisit it after the easier stuff is all updated and debugged.

rake/foray are not tied with flurry of claws... which is a really good thing.. been doing both at the same time, even with both of them up it only uses flurry

I have new version that I posted at MQ2. I wanted to get some of the bugs out before I posted it here. I will check the rake and flurry of claws routine then I will post it here soon.

I noticed myself bashing and there does not appear to be a way to turn this off.

I tried:
/melee bash=0 (no response)
/melee slam=0 (no response)

and /melee did not list either of these.

Am I missing something? How can I turn these off?

Flurry of claws is a AE combat ability, and does not share the same timer as Rush, Rush however does share the same timer as foray/Rake

I noticed myself bashing and there does not appear to be a way to turn this off.

I tried:
/melee bash=0 (no response)
/melee slam=0 (no response)

and /melee did not list either of these.

Am I missing something? How can I turn these off?

What class and race is the toon?

Bash shouldn't be there at all since berserkers don't get that ability.
Looks like my slam fix is not working either. It is not showing up on my troll berserker either. I am working on it now.

Ok slam is not showing up in the display but it is showing up in the ini file.

/melee save

then edit your mq2melee file servername_toonname.ini in your mq2 folder ie povar_Bob.ini in notpad and set

slam=0

save the ini file then in eq

/melee load

Ok so this is the issue. I feel like melee has always done this in some form or another, but currently as I'm playing a BST, I'm noticing these BST related issues. Sometimes, my toon simply will not cast Rake or Feral Swipe. Even if I reload the plugin, reload the ini, change the settings, etc...it just won't cast them. Sometimes one will work, but not the other...and other times both work just fine. Also I notice that if ever I have more than one target, my pet will only assist on the first one. Sometimes, he'll assist at like 20% on the second one, and uaually if theres a third he'll assist near the beginning. My settings have my pet waiting 1 second to assist, which should be ample time after a target switch.

For what it's worth, I've seen irregularities with my zerker's Cry Havoc refusing to cast after I've logged to character select then re-entered game. Logging all the way to desktop then re-entering and starting MQ2 after hitting world fixes this for me. Your mileage may vary.

same thing on my beastlord. it never seems to work right. but on all other toons it works great.

Any way we could throw something in there for Vainglorious Shout for Bards? i use it constantly, and it would be clutch to have it covered with MQ2Melee

Wouldn't be that hard to add. It was left out because its an AoE which has lots of repercussions. The beastlord AoE that I included has killed many already because they didn't know it was an AoE lmao. I will do some testing on my bard and see how large it is and if aggros and breaks mez etc.

The range is pretty short, but I haven't messed around with the radius. For the time being, I'm only dealing with single pulls in HoT (because I'm gimp), but if I have bigger pulls its only with weaker mobs, so it would still be very useful.
If it gets to be a problem, we can always set vainglorious=0.

I only play a Paladin so I don't know much at all about pet's but I think this is what you looking for:

· PET HANDLING:

  • Issue /pet back and /pet hold after each mobs dies.
  • Configure pet to wait to assist till mobs within range.
  • Configure pet to wait for a specified time before assisting.
  • Pet mend if its life goes below a certain point.
  • Option to automatically re-engage target when no longer mezzed.
  • Backup pet on enrage/infuriate events and re-engaging of target.
  • Auto /pet hold if you manually hit back button or do /pet back.
Settings in your INI "Server_Toon.ini"

· enrage=[on|off]
Turns attack off and issues /pet hold (/pet back if hold not available) if target enrages and you are facing it. Automatically re-engages when enrage ends or if you are behind the target.

· infuriate=[on|off]
Turns attack off and issues /pet hold (/pet back if hold not available) if target infuriates and you are facing it. Re-engages when infuriate ends or if you are behind the target.

· petassist=[on|off]
Will send pet attack on engage and backoff on enrage/infuriate if those options are enabled. The plugin will also use /pet hold if you have that AA.

· petdelay=[0-30]
Will not engage pet until [x] seconds has passed.

· petmend=[0-100]
Cast "Mend Companion" or "Replenish Companion" if pet is at or below given health % (will cast higher of the two if you have both).

· petrange=[0-150]
Will not engage pet until mob is within [x] range of your pet.

/pet hold
prevents your pet from attacking a mob for any reason until explicitly told by the owner. Invaluable for raids.

/pet kill <target>
tells the pet to attack the designated <target>

/pet notaunt
tells the pet to not taunt its attacker.

/pet no cast
toggles between casting and non casting

/pet no taunt
tells the pet to not taunt its attacker.

/pet report health
displays the pets health as a percentage and also lists all current buffs on pet in text form.

/pet sit
causes the pet to sit down.

/pet sit down
tells pet to sit down.

/pet stand
causes the pet to stand up.

/pet stand up
tells pet to stand up.

/pet taunt <on or off>
without parameter toggles the taunt on/off, or can state taunt on or taunt off.

/pet who leader
pet says who is their master.

I am looking at this now. It might make sense to add a command to turn off all pet stuff.
 
There was a syntax error in the code so the updated version will be included in future compiles.
 
my rogue will not backstab and I cannot for the life of me figure it out! Any ideas?
