Release MQ2EasyFind (1 Viewer)

Overview Commands Updates (41) Reviews (6) Discussion
Is there a cumulative ini file maintained on these boards, or do we have to piece one together from all the thread updates?

I must be doing something wrong, Every time I issue the command /travelto "zonename"
I get this message

The Zone Path Generator was unable to find a path from the Plane of Knowledge to Unknown Zone

Nav is loaded, Easyfind loaded Not sure what I'm doing wrong =/

I’m asking for the exact zone name you used that failed.

For example:
/travelto freeportwest
Works for me and it runs my char from pok to west freeport (it does accept zone shortnames as well as long names. I could have done /travelto “West Freeport” also...)
If this doesn’t work for you, you either have an old mq2 or an old mq2nav or a old mq2easyfind or bad meshes or all of the above or a mix.

Well for example In game just now I did
/travelto "West Freeport"
While in Plane of Knowledge
Same message, I will rebuild meshes, I know Mq2 and Nav are current.

Tried this and getting same message, it also opens but minimizes the "zoneGuide" window

However if I type /travelto freeportwest I get another window open also called "zone path" this shows the path to zone.
I get the message " a mystical path appears before you" which it does. BUT nothing else happens my toon just stands there

ok quick update, i tried the above at lobby zone out. moved to small bank and tried it again and it worked except toon got stuck on one of the flag posts for the anniversary.
i noticed this happening after the patch before last when using Find to move around in Pok and some other zones, it wont find a path untill your closer to the object-npc or zoneline your wanting to move to.

it has to do with mesh size/amount of tiles prior it would load all the tiles for that zone, but now it loads an amount nearby to navigate to.

Anyone able to confirm /travelto is completely broken on Test (and probably Live after the patch)?

Easyfind isn't working for me at all. I've tried using it in 2 different zones. Just stands there spamming the zone guide after it tells me to load nav and generate a mesh (when I already have nav loaded and a mesh for the zone). I even tried making a new mesh for the zone and it done the same thing.

-edit-
Let me rephrase. The zone guide isn't working with Easyfind. I can use ctrl+f and it'll do the job just fine. Same with naving to a target in zone. But if I use the zone guide to make a path, it just stands there.

so ifyou start on a nav path, how do you STOP? many times I've hit someone on find only to forget i put invis up and once u start running you're stuck until you get to the mob.

/nav stop

you can also go into you /nav ui settings tab and change your "break behavior"

I prefer to keep mine on "stop navigation" so if i try and move while navigating i will just stop
