Ogre Berserker continuously casts Contraction using the Demagnifying Glass (Decrease Player Size by 34%) He is at 1.4423075914383 (height).
Searched the boards to no avail. Any insight on this?

Update: When he has Nights Terror Illusion he only shrinks to 1.5625 and continuously casts.

for shrink clickies, we only cast them if you are 2.04 or larger, we specifically don't try and double shrink due to illusions and how sometimes shrink actually makes you larger if you cast it twice (dbg had stated they recently fixed that).

i'd be interested to see where you added it (downtime is incorrect)

Ok I see it's in the shrink group box. Trying to cast on group members, but I guess its a self only shrink.

I'm running a 6 box, all using CWTN class plugins.

My problem: Low level shaman is just always OOM because he's constantly buffing these short term low level buffs.

I searched for a solution, and what works is doing "/shm pause true" then he can finally med to full, then "/shm pause false" when ready to go again.

My question: I can't do the above from my tank that I'm driving, is there a way to just pause all CWTN plugins from a single hotkey while medding or afk?


Very new so will probably have some dumb questions for a bit I apologize.

/cwtna pause on - will pause everyone including yourself
/cwtn pause on - will pause everyone else, not including yourself

knowing how to control your characters is just as important as the automation you use --- definitely click that link above (it is the sticky) and go through the hotkeys and whatnot

you can also just consider putting your shaman in byos mode for a while (it won't swap any spells or do any buffs) - just use what it knows to use --- or you can block buffs on toons you dont want buffs on - lots of options

Thanks, I did go over that guide before I started, I completely missed the "/cwtna pause on" and didn't know how important that would be.

Do you have "remove illusion" turned on. Because unless it gave another benefit buff (which I don't believe it does) we won't cast it if you have it so you want to dismiss illusions

so it works --- as long as we're not being told something doesn't interact well with it.

which i suspect is your jann's veil - if you were to deactivate jann's veil, and click off the benefit (and illusion) you'd see that it works.

unfortunately not going to try and hamfist a workaround for that --- sort answer

long answer --- they seem to have recently change how some clickies work and how some clickies interact with their "keyring" designations --- there are some familiar items now that don't have a familiar benefit despite the fact they should. there are also other clickies that don't actually say what they do, and do different things than what they say - and do different things depending on if they have a target or not.

Like this "recent' item that was changed because of how keyring interaction works - i *suspect* but i don't *know* that there are going to be other items that are all fucked now because of it. I spent quite a few hours this past weekend trying to resolve some of them, but i have come to the conclusion it might just be broken on the eq side for the time being.

the shaman plugin isn't different than the other plugins, they all use a "shared library" of functions, so not a copy paste of the same code, but the actual same code.

and for clarity, i don't just mean the jann's veil illusion buff removed, but the actual illusion benefit buff removed as well

can you show me your:
- buffs
- addclickies for downtime
- blocked buffs

in the meantime i'll see if i can get one of my shamans to cast it (after i waste the marketplace currency)

here i turn on "autoremoveillusion" and it clicks off the illusion portion
i was incorrect when i said i didn't thin it has a benefit portion - it does
if i click off the benefit portion - i recast it



if i turn off autoremoveillusion - it will recast it if i don't have the illusion benefit from it (not to recast for the illusion)

perhaps you currently have another illusion benefit that isn't your jann's veil?

you will also want to check you don't have something in your keyring stat slot - as we will intentionally not argue with whatever you put in there - because it makes you cast spells that your items don't say they cast

that image of your buffs is unhelpful by a large margin - I have 0 clue what those are with any specificity.

The I popped open the MyUI Lua script and checked buffs, I have nothing with "Illusion" or "Benefit" in the list, as for blocked buffs, I hovered over each and they are not blocked.

I clicked off mount blessing beza an additional time and now she's casting it.

Can you guys look into this when you have time? Downtime illusions worked for ages just fine, not sure what changed, also not sure why its looking for a mount blessing buff, lol.

unfortunately no - with some items seeming to be "broken" in the past 2 patches, no don't plan on hamfisting some work arounds for stuff that was different before - unless dbg confirms that they "have now fixed all the items and their interactions with their item system (keyring) --- and for clarity - im not saying the item is or isn't on the keyring, but they changed items because of their keyring system

sorry about that, i really wish dbg would stop fucking stuff up.

also - we check all buffs to see what potential conflicts exist - so if something is being reported as not stacking, then we don't use it - doesn't matter what it is

You can see that EQ got rid of the illusion benefit due to this mount. This shouldn't happen

the item is broken.

if i then dismount and then re-cast the illusion i can get both but this shouldn't be how it is. We're not going to do that, because we think you're missing the illusion benefit ----> which you ARE <---- but there's is something that is reporting it isn't stacking, so we're not going to do it

We don't use origin at all. Sounds like you're running something else in addition to the plugins.

overwhelmingly emphatically we don't use origin - some other automations use it for their "stuck gem" detection - but the cwtn plugins absolutely do not

i keep spamming i dont want this illusion on my pet but i want the buff that it adds although i blocked the illusion part to blockspell it just continues to spam that item. any ideas as to a work around?

You can't block it, it won't apply it.

As mentioned in several posts above you - there are some eq issues with some of the pet illusion clickies. Just click off the pet illusion.

For what?

The item applies a pet illusion.

Im not if when you "blocked" it it was your pet illusion or personal - if you didn't try blocking the illusion in you PET blocked buffs, you could try that - but the item might now allow that.

Unfortunately eq currently has some inconsistencies
