Default is on sir. Your conscience will be the rule and guide of your actions.
Cuz
Sounds like you should review the information available to you.

Well you have it in your inventory. you can take it out of your inventory and it wouldn't get used. but we're going to assume if you have it in your inventory you probably want to use it.

if you don't want to use epic rez.

turn off epic rez.

Is there a way to force the app to use composite over dissident? Mine has dissident loaded when my composite it better.

Other than the obvious BYOS....

byos wouldn't work at this time anyhow - just about allll of the plugins still want to use the spells you have listed when you load the plugin, it just allows you to re-work your loadout. now for cleric you actually *are* supposed to be able to swap to composite with byos, so i'll fix that

all the cwtn plugins have a dynamic selection to pick which progressive spell to use.

what rank of dissident and what rank of composite do you have?

the only adjustment I could see making is doing

composite 6 5 4 3 > dissi 6 5 > comp 2 > dissi 4 > comp 1 > dissi 3 2 1, dicho
where composite 2 is over dissident 4 for the amazingly unnoticable ~3k difference in the temporary max health

Composite 3, Dissident 4... cleric loading up dissident instead of composite.

I also have a friend who has composite only cause they never bothered to get dissident and its not loading composite at all.

it doesn't load dissident 4 over composite 3, but i did make the adjustments for the composite 2 > dissi 4 > comp 1 thing i mentioned for next patch.

Well.. I have composite 3, and it's mem'd dissident instead. Composite does like 5k more heals.

can you show me in your spell book:

composite blessing - composite lifespring 3
dissident blessing - dissident lifespring 4

and your spell output when the plugin loads
/clr missing
and
what it says for "Updated - Dissident: XXX"
and
/clr byos

your friend should go and get the missing spells - if the plugin complains that something is missing, you should go and get it.

I found dissidents, but composite effects hidden in my book somewhere... I have the main spell. Is there an easy way to find out where spells are in your book?

Go see the progressive spell merchant in WW or Stratos and say 'reminder'. That will get you updated to the correct spell rank for the progression you've done.

Hopefully that 'unflucks' the fluckery

Any chance to update the cleric to have a use HoT button in settings? That would keep a HoT rolling on the main tank. As it is now my tank goes and pulls come backs to camp and the cleric has all the time in the world to preHoT but waits til the tank is hit before doing anything and never HoTs. Mana is never an issue the cleric is mostly FM no matter how many mobs I pull. The HoT would also help with healing the tank while he is out pulling. Every so often the tank will die on pulling and the HoT would have helped keep him alive until back in camp. My HoT heals for about 15k a tick for 90seconds. That is alot of passive healing I could be taking advantage of using.

no, we don't plan on doing anything like keeping a hot rolling while you're not fighting or such.

and hot is pretty meh anyhow, so we treat it as a group heal.

you can manually pre-hot if that's something you want to do, but no, we're not going to just 24/7 spam keep up hot

If you're asking to just keep hot up while we're in combat (and obviously its memorized) - we can do something like that, we do that with mq2shaman.

I'm assuming you're lower lvl? or are you byos and just making questionable choices?

Nope 115 I just wanted to keep a HoT up for combat. Old school cleric hit the tank with HoT on inc then heal......

My cleric is doing nothing while the mob is making its way back to camp. I made a key on my war to tell the cleric to HoT but would like to automate it.

k

have you tried not using a busted byos loadout from 1999 with hot :p

I do not understand the comment. All settings on the cleric plugin are default.

BYOS is a "bring your own spells" loadout

we don't memorize HoT, GroupHoT, or GroupHoTCure at 115.

which means for you to be using them, you are byos and manually memorizing it (unless somehow you are missing an absolute crazy amount of spells.

I did not get that part about BYOS that I could load a HoT and the plugin would use the spell. I normally only use it when I need to buff oog and I click it to load buffs. I will have to try that out. Thanks

I will absolutely not be adding something that the plugin will stop what its doing, memorize HoT, toss it on tank, and then re-memorize the "normal" spell it is going to use.

if that is what you're doing that's nuts =p

I can/will add if you have it memorized (HoT, GroupHoT, or GroupHoTCure) and you have xtargets, that you will try and cast on your MA if they don't have the buff.

so doing that at 115 will require you to go BYOS and use some custom spell loadout.

No in group setting I click off use DI and put the HoT spell there. So when I send a tell to the cleric he will HoT my tank.

gotcha.

That gem is pretty lack luster - does DI if you have use DI, and does yaulp if you don't have the yaulp AA. so that makes sense that you turned off DI and then have a "flex" gem

Ya in grp setting DI never has a chance to fire. So being an old school cleric I want to use my HoT. I love it and its one of my most used spells when I play manual.

well you did say your tank dies on pull - maybe if it had DI!

Mainly he is dying atm in Temple of Veshen cause he cuts the corner to pull a drake and the door shuts. He takes a few seconds to open it back up with his back turned to 2 drakes and dies some times. He lives if I have HoT on him.

Cleric hots suck by design and top level cleric's don't use them. It's all about spamming remedies and interventions. You're a heal wizard, not a heal necro. If you're really into manually playing a specific way, then feel free to do that manually. But the plugin, as is, plays closer to how the current meta works for clerics. Cwtn plugins are specifically *not* as configurable as other automation tools so they can be more efficient and less susceptible to poor user configuration like having a bad ini file in kiss.

You may need to find an alternate place to setup camp so that you don't pull through doors.

I disagree. How can you say casting a HoT on the tank in camp while waiting for a mob to get into camp is a bad thing? You get a 15k (30K) with crit every 6 seconds. Much better than the cleric waiting to cast remedy after the mob is in camp and hitting the tank.
