Awesome plugin and does a vastly better job than my old macro setup. Any chance a toggle could be added for using div res though? Cleric is a main and needs to reserve div res for raid.

Great catch. I usually hope to use my divine ress on my tank since he dies more than anyone else, but occasionally it gets burned on my silver monk and I'm like.. ehh whatevs.

Had a weird thing happen this morning. Group makeup is war, zerk, clr, bard 2xdps mercs. War in tank mode, zerk/clr in assist, bard being run manually, no KI. Bard(set as puller) pulled a named and came back to camp very low health, around 30%, cleric didn't heal him, died at the tanks feet. Everyone engaged in burn mode but the cleric seemed to be stuck, the tank wasn't getting any heals. I alt tabbed to the cleric who had the dead bard targeted. hitting ESC cleared the target for a second but popped right back to the bards corpse. as far as I could see he wasn't casting rez or divine rezz or any heals. I manually spammed the group heals till the named was dead. Cleric rezzed bard as normal after that.

not much to go off of there. of all the issues and working through stuff, i've never had mq2cleric just not do stuff when it should - so gonna need some more information.

what it *sounds* like happened is it was trying to /corpse your bard but you didn't have your group autoconsented

I do this all the time. Add a few of the raid tanks to your ext target window, and make sure usextargethealing is turned on.
It will treat anyone on xtarget like they were in the group, including resses.

we don't have anything that will make you sit down in combat - you could make an mq2react for it

reason for this is we would need to track aggro or at least the last time you are hit - for tlp we can't track aggro pct on xtarget, and currently we don't track the last time you were hit (to stop you from sitting and getting hit from sit aggro)

I will check out the mq2react. Me personally i would rather have them sit and then hit the toggle if they have aggro to stop them from sitting then have to constantly monitor her to make her sit in between cast.
 
i tried this out on test on my tlp clr and it only heals with the fast heal on the tank and will never buff if i have byos checked even if i have the buff spells and ch memmed. idk if this is intended or the buffs and ch need to be in the slots you have them assigned. I mostly want byos so i can have my invulns up and have superior heal as my fast heal since light isnt as good in most settings atleast to me.

byos is you handling your own spell lineups and your own buffs (the only buff it will use if you have memorized is the STHPBuff - any other lines you will need to use manually)

curious about the superior healing vs the healing light tho
superior is 600 heal for 185mana at 3.5 cast time 1s recast (that is 3.24 health per mana)
healing light is 800 heal for 238mana 3.75 cast time 1s recast (that is 3.36 health per mana) with slightly longer cast

you just prefer the lower lvl one for spot healing / slightly quicker cast time?
 
in raid situations you tend to over heal alot more with light and i get more total casts out with superior. in group situations if you set the limits lower its fine but on the enc if its charming i want the heal to go out asap because im suicidal and give my pet two weapons and haste it so its capable of two rounding my enc in many situations.

also when you said add manually you mean i have to cast it myself or is there a way for me to tell it i want to use reso and symbol?

nah, byos for the cwtn plugins means you want to manually select your spells to memorize, and manually do your buffs - meaning you will want to manually cast them

This is correct. You generally want the faster / lower mana cost spells than the large heals. If you and 5 other clerics are spam healing, it's likely that 3-4 of those heals are going to land for 0 hitpoints, which means 100% of the mana was wasted.

Now in a group setting, efficiency and proper timing makes a lot more sense. You're looking to balance your mana bar as much as possible, or deal with med breaks every 10-30 minutes.

In the higher / modern raid game, you'd use some heals situationally, such as Renewals if you need the cure component for your tank (and not for the entire raid), or Lights if you don't want the DD component of heals, such as in ToFS 1. This is when the BYOS option becomes critical, because MQ2Cleric by default uses 2 remedy and 2 intervention/contravention spells, and there wouldn't be another way to programmatically know that you want to use something different based on your event or other surroundings.

ok maybe i missed it but right now i dont have a good tank but my merc is better on one of my toons is there a way to make the cleric do that with this plug in? if not no worries thank you!

are you asking if the plugin will use your merc? like your tank merc?

if so, no, sorry the plugin just does cleric stuff
 
sorry half asleep when i typed this up, lol am looking to have my cleric heal a Merc tank but he wont target him he will only heal my bard. sorry for how had that was typed.

hrm, doesn't look like we heal mercenaries - we'll take a look at this asap

despite mercs being mostly garbo, that's not intended =p
 
I've noticed that as well when I pop out a melee merc - it only catches group heals. I manually drive my tank and tend to heal the merc that way. I figured it was because the merc was being spazzy and was out of range. Nice catch, @Iindian .
 
haha the merc tanks are garbo, but while am trying to lvl my war with my cleric the lvl 110 tank merc is better then my 93 war lol
 
Totally. Unfortunately these plugins all work by assisting the Main Assist of the group, and mercs can't be set as MA. That's one of the few things that Kiss / Mule Assist handles a little better. I guess you could have your 93 warrior set as MA, and run KA off of the merc (so the warrior is in assist mode to the tank merc), and then the MQ2Cleric will be running off of your 93 warrior. Of course, once MQ2Cleric will automatically heal your merc. ;)

He's a gold account.

Mq2cwtnbuffs is loaded on all the characters, single computer, all files local
Unloaded buff, cleric, and berzerker plugin and reloaded.
Berserker does run mq2berzerker and is a gold account as well Level 112
Tried reinstall of mq2 to make sure cwtnbuffs was up to date, also reinstalled all the plugins from the plugins tab.
If I unload cwtnbuffs from berzerker he stops. If I remove her from the group he stops.
No red message about buff did not stick because of conflict on cleric. All characters in group have that buff.
Checked Charname_Buffs.ini It populates with the correct buffs on berserker including UHOAr rk2, also cleared itself on logout. Deleted all the Char_buffs.ini files when it was offline, it recreated them.
Group consists of 6 characters, only berserker is affected by this (edited this in)

I read through previous posts and tried to include all the information requested, any advice would be appreciated.

can you run it so he's spam buffing, and then PM me the charactername_buffs.ini file
 
riftere is trying a couple of things locally - I wasn't able to recreate the issue
 
Got it all sorted out - had to do with some buff rank stripping (on triggered buff effects) we had already fixed locally which will be in next live build
 
haha the merc tanks are garbo, but while am trying to lvl my war with my cleric the lvl 110 tank merc is better then my 93 war lol
got our target validation sorted out for mercenaries (coincidentally I was working on mq2worsthurt with @Knightly today and i noticed that that plugin doesn't like mercenaries either! so we got a fix in for that)
