MQ2AutoLootSort 1.0

LootSort.exe is a little utility that will alphabeticaly sort each section in your Loot.ini file from the MQ2AutoLoot plugin. This will make manualy editing this file a bit easier. It will sort Loot.ini into Loot.ini.sav and if all goes well swap the files. This will leave you with a sorted Loot.ini and the previous version as a backup.
Usage: copy LootSort.exe into your MQ2\Release\Macros directory and run it. LootSort.exe also accepts 1 or more filenames as command line arguments instead.

Is there some way to change the ini it reads? I have a couple of custom loot ini files, was curious if its possible to change it somehow or an option to.

Not yet. But could easily be added. How would you like to specify the file ? Is a command line option good enough ?

BAH ..... have a browse window open up to select the file... utilize and flex your coding skills... lol

Ok the new version with command line arguments is ready. Calling it from within your text editor might be nice.
Btw sorting the current lootfile will soon be available in the MQ2AutoLoot plugin as /AutoLoot sort.

He submitted source for MQ2AutoLootSort to the repository, though I can't say if that source builds this exe since I haven't built the repository since last patch.

MQ2AutoLootSort is now part of the distribution, therefore it's no longer available from this thread.
