how do you get this to work? i made the .ini i have put it in every folder going.
start Mq2 and then what ? i click the patchme eq's and they dont auto login.
and yes i have loaded the plugin in game. because i use the /switchchar command all the time

You first make a shortcut to eqgame.exe then right click the shortcut and choose properties. Add patchme and /login:stationname after the path to the exe.

StartMQ2, then Double click your shortcut. When you do, it will start whatever account you put as [session 1] and when you double click again, it starts whatever is [session2] and so on. I don't know why it doesn't just login the account you have added as /login:stationname, but this is how it is working for me atm.

Using wineq2 you can have it match the station name in the profile to log it in instead of doing it by order of launch.

i dont use wineq. and i have done all the patchme stuff ect.
but it doesn't type the password.
it does nothing.

Did you add the patchme and the /login on the right line? Is it at the end of Target and not "start in"?

Mine looks like this Target:
Rich (BB code):
"C:\Program Files\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme /login

Also, I learned this morning that you don't really need the station name behind the /login because having it there doesn't change the behavior at all. You may not even need /login... I just didn't test it that way this morning.

its got nothing to do with the patchme.
it just doesnt work. i start mq2 i click EQ and it just logs into the normal place (were you type password) it does nothing else

So your INI file is set up with sessions? Like:

[Session 1]
Stationname=bob
Server=rathe

And so forth? And not stations like this:

[Stationname]
Server=rathe

If so, the only other reason it might not work is if you have a typo somewhere. I had the same issue as you and realized I had spelled "rathe" with two e's.

Sorry this isn't as clear as it could be.... typing this on my phone and don't have my PC handy to check...
