MQ2 will not update with RGUpdater

upon the release of yesterdays patch, i have been unable to update with the new compile. i even reformatted my computer to try to fix the issue, any help? i keep getting the error "Unhandled Exception has occured in your application. Cannot read that as a ZipFile." this is the first i have had this issue with a new compile. so now i am stuck with a empty MQ2 folder since it will not let me update and "unpack" the compile with RG update.

Make sure you don't have any files in the folder that say like they have been changed i can't remember what they say for sure but there will be 2 of the same files only one says something else with it. THey will be the mq2 dll. delete them an make sure you don't have MQ running an try it. I have had this issue before

its a brand new install, there seems to be something wrong with the compile that it allows me to download or something. i reformatted my computer thinking i had a corrupt file somewhere, but that didnt fix anything

did you make sure you only have the correct addons selected?

gonna try uninstalling it all again, and redownloading to see if that fixes the issue, doubt it, but woth a shot

Still didnt fix the issue, guess its EQ the old fashioned way...

i fixed my issue, but i am still not sure what the cause was. i downloaded the newest compile on my other computer, and transfered the file to my main computer via external hard-drive. it is working now, but im not sure why it wouldn't let me download a working copy straight from the site to this computer.

It looks like you are missing your macroquest2.ini file make sure its in your root mq2 folder

Looks like it was a corrupt download, usually caused by an antivirus program interfering with the download of the zip.

I had a error similar to this for a long time until i started running the updater as admin. Are you doing that?
