Downloaded the latest build of MQ2 and not it crashes at character log in screen. Started with trying load all with autoloader and all toons crashed. Went to one toon autoloader > crash. Manual log in with MQ2 running character select screen it crashes when enter world selected. I can log in without MQ2 running and load MQ2 once characters are in and it runs fine, but if I have a character in eq with MQ2 running and attempt to log in another it crashes when I mq2 unload on the character select screen.

Hope some of that is helpful ..

Just updated 30 seconds ago, please try the new compile.

Just tried the new compile 08102016 same result. I can load MQ2 after login seems to work fine even through zoning but if it's running at character select screen it crashes when enter world is selected.

Very odd! Are you using isboxer or wineq or anything like that?

Sent along some crash reports hope that helps seems that if I do anything now which involves MQ2 it crashes - I can log on without it running but if I use any functions it is crashing. I tried starting kissassist - crash - autoaccept group - crash. Really odd.

Sorry for the delay - Cazic

Update - I followed advice given in another forum post for this same problem - I downloaded a fresh copy and extrated it to my desktop - running that from there was fine. I have since replaced my macro folder with kissassist and it's ini's, the MQ2Nav file, and the MQAdvpath folders without problems. Each time I added something I restarted MQ2 and reloged into Everquest. I will continue to add things later in hopes of isolating the crash but for now seems to run stable.

Darkmax thank you so much for troubleshooting, let us know if you find the culprit!

I ended up replacing the MacroQuest.ini file with the default one and was able to log in without problem. From there I added each of the plugins I use 1 by 1 and found that when either MQ2pop or MQ2AdvPath were enabled they caused crashes. I tried a few different combinations and found that either plugin caused me a problem. As long as their both disabled problem solved. That should put you closer to an answer.

MQ2custompopup has been off the whole time.

This is the plugin section of my current ini file. All of the plugins listed as on are one's I tested with logging in with plus plugins MQ2pop and MQ2Advpath.

Disable mq2nav and mq2dpsadv for now.
I'm working on fixing them just haven't had time yet since well, test patched today (again)

I updated to the new compile this morning and had this exact same issue. Crashed at character select screen everytime. I disabled MQ2Pop and MQ2Advpath and I am no longer crashing.
