MQ2 Backups - A powershell script to help you backup your MQ2 Configs and INIs [Work In Progress]

The following is a Powershell script that will help you backup your config and ini files for MQ2. It will do so for your Live, Test, Beta, and Emu installs. If you do not have one of these installed, just leave an empty string. It will automatically create folders at $MQ2Backup_Root with the names MQ2_<Test/Live/Beta/Emu>.

You can most easily run this by cutting and pasting this into the Windows Powershell ISE tool, selecting all the text, and clicking the Run Selection button.

not used powershell much, so feeling my way through the ISE
 
Ok, braindead moment. I went to enter my paths in the script before I ran it, and it said on line 3 to do:
c:\location\of\mq2
so i put in my location for mq2.....I didn't put in my location for mq2\release
Once I fixed that it ran without error.

Hi @toadwart, thanks for pointing out a document blindspot on my end. I use the old desktop paths vs the new defaults. I'll fix that tonight.
