Updated MQ via the launcher today (21NOV23) since I hadn't updated in a few days. During raids I noticed I was lagging *heavily* and couldn't figure out why. Task Manager showed MQ using between 8 and 20% of my CPU consistently. Clients were using the standard 0.5% to 1.5% CPU. Seemed strange
Also noticed that my NVME boot drive/mq drive was unusually full. Unusually, as in 30gb from being maxxed out, and I try to keep it about half full (so, 450-500gb used). Thought maybe i'd contracted a virus somewhere. Did some history cleanup, heavier than usual scans for things. Nothing.
When I started tracking down where my disk space usage went, I found the culprit - Macroquest. The huge CPU usage at some point created two launcher logs of pretty enormous size. No idea what's inside of them, notepad++ and standard notepad refuse to open the big one due to file size (Duh).
No idea if the launcher is retarded and gave me a bad patch, hiccuped and had issues, or if something in the build is busted. Nor am I sure how to check. But yeah, filling the drive is not a good time. Below is a snap of the filesize quirk. Really curious what caused this to happen, it's never happened before with MQ.
