Problem - Mouse cannot click anything

I am having an intermittent issue where I cannot click anything with the mouse. For example, I cannot target the banker and right click on him. I cannot grab an item out of inventory or click on it. I can see the slot highlight at the mouseover but it cannot be selected or clicked.

If I camp and log back in it will work again but I cannot figure out what causes it or how to prevent it. Any ideas?

Anyone having random issues with opening inventory window? Seems like I have to zone before I can use the Inventory window on random toons. On the selector window or pressing 'I' does nothing, all other windows from the selector window open and close fine.

its an EQ bug, there is an 'invisible item stuck on your cursor'
apparently 'fixed' speculatively last patch, but i am still experiencing the VERY annoying problem.

zone, or activate an AA like origin (/alt act 331) and duck out of it.

Ive found if you /camp for a few seconds and stand up, most of the time it starts participating again.

As an additional note, I have observed that it seems to only take place on my Shammy and my Zerker.

This may be random luck or maybe they both use some item that causes it to happen, I dont know but its interesting to note.

While the likely issue has been identified already in this thread, I wanted to also share the issue I had with this for a short while until I caught the pattern.

My setup is a desk with one keyboard and mouse connected via a USB kvm (a/b) type swtich to two different computers/monitors. One work setup and the other home machine. Early on I would launch EQ and while the game was loading I'd toggle over the work computer and do stuff as things loaded. When I would go back to EQ everything worked except the mouse. This would only happen if I toggled over during the initial launch screen with music playing after character select. With multiple game instances loading and coming back to some screens working and others not it confused me for a bit. Once fully loaded I am able to toggle back and forth with no problem.

I doubt this is your issue but figured I'd post in case anybody does forum searches and comes across this in the future and has a similar setup.

I know this is old , but I have the same problem for a while now on multiple accounts and I found by accident if nothing is working I can click a mount and then it runs, if they are already on a mount I can click it off and then it runs, I do this multiple times per session of play.

Most of the time bringing up a mount of anykind works and it lets you click that one thing or if you are already on a horse drop it nd that also fixes it
