I have a problem with my necro, I want him to cast mind excoriation the mana drain that spell that gives mana back to the group, but it doesn't do damage, it just does mana drain, so in my dps section it just bypasses it all together and goes to the spells that do damage, how do I make him cast this spell regardless?

this is still the same ini that I was helping you with yesterday. It needs a complete re-write. there are completely unfunctional sections in it which is going to give you unexpected behavior.

kiss casts the necro mana tap just find without it doing damage. your ini needs to get re-done

did you delete your post? the one where I spend some time going through for you and showing you some of the stuff that was wrong, and providing you some ini examples on how to fix it?

Mana Taps - These necro taps have come up a few times in the past too. Unless KA's been code changed, it has to do with KA knowing that's a mana tap spell. KA's mana tap cast code runs a check to see if the target is a caster. kaen mentions here how to edit that out of your version of KA.

Another poster was able to use frimp's suggestion of making it a "debuffall" so KA forces the cast without checking for caster mobs.

Well, I can't even find the deleted thread to pull back up all the stuff i wrote for you yesterday, so here are some notes from this go-around. There are still a few items that I mentioned that are going to give you unexpected/unwanted results. (like your fd/aggro stuff, your conditions that don't work because they're not conditions that work with this kiss version any longer)

You have rez turned off
RezAcceptOn=0|98

You should have one of these on if you want good results with buff type stuff with your crew also connected
EQBCOn=0

These sections no longer do anything

These just will do these AAs/spells/actions at the top of the dps list everytime (because again the DPSCond section is gone)

ok I guess I have to take the time to redo this, I started a new ini file, I want all 4 necros to do the same thing, but I want only the 1 to cast mind excoriation, I will use what was mentioned for that, and I will use what you are saying, but the reason I don't want to give up these files (I have to anyway to update them) is because I had checks for each of them from other people that had me do very specific things.
1: they would use their quick dots however when they got a gift of mana, they would use their dico, or alliance (whichever was first on gift of mana)
2: they would recognize that an alliance is up and not cast to override the alliance and waste the cast.
3: they would now notice that an alliance was up and stop casting their quick dots and now cast their longer duration dots to make the alliance trigger, and once triggered if one of them had a gift they would use it to cast an alliance (if one just triggered and someone how it aligned that a gift went up and an alliance just triggered), and repeat, if not they would continue in their spell rotation, of keeping the quick dots up, and casting the longer ones after
4: if dicho and alliance were off cd they would use forceful rejuvenation
5: if they ever got to 50% or higher on aggros, they would feign it off and get right back up and continue
i never was good at coding so i always came here and pretty much copy/pasted what people told me, it took me a few months to get to where i was with this and even than its not 100%, and i dont even want to go into the macros i have created since i had to rig commands to make certain things happens since i am not good, so my frustration is understandable, and i appreciate the help, its also why i am scared to start over, but i only need 1 ini file for the 4 necros, i can copy it if it has all of that, and just needs 1 of them with the mana tap to keep everyones mana up (cleric)

well, I would certainly not tell you to just throw your stuff in the trash, but rename it and save it, and then build a new one with some of the details from the first one

and we're more than happy to help - but it certainly is impossible and frustrating when you ask for help, get some help, delete it / ignore most of it, and then post that your stuff still isn't working.

This works but it has one flaw: the macro waits for Erosion (the 115 version) to recycle and there is a long refresh time, causing a long break between spells.
