Problem - ${Me.GemTimer[]} unreliable with bard

To reproduce

Code:
1= wave of xxx (ae mez)
2 = aria
3 = war march

/twist 1 2 3
/echo ${Me.GemTimer[0]}

The gem timer for wave will typically be stuck at 30000 for a while (longer than 30 seconds). Stopping the twist will cause gemtimer to correct. Sometimes I get 0 gem timer, even though it's on cooldown, but this is harder to repro - this is actually my bigger problem. This is also an issue with insults. I'm thinking this likely an EQ client issue more than a MQ issue, as it doesn't show the gem cooldown animation either.

Any thoughts for fixing or working around this? Thanks

Trying to understand why you would have an ae mez in your twist routine?

First, do you have the same issue with /melody as with /twist?

Second, what are you trying to do?
