My map is just behaving like EQ no MQ injections..

Does it with nav loaded or unloaded... does it on a default very vanilla (all updates since last week's patch)... no changes..

I verified my game data from EQ launcher..

I'm at a loss what else to try! (short of full re-installation of EQ...ugh)

I can still target across zone etc, so it seems like its just visual overlay that im not seeing spawns / target lines etc on the ingame map..
Using SEQ for the moment...

Forgive me if this is a stupid suggestion - but have you tried to toggle visible layers? - Mine is visible layer 2 for mq2 map stuff (tho i use myseq on another computer/monitor)

Yep, tried every possible combination of layers active and not, all enabled, 1,2,3.. and labels on or off.. and i know when labels are on, because i cant even see the map for all the spawns listed :)

Maskoi, I will try /mac map when i get home, hoping that helps.

Thanks,

Yep /mac map fixed it!

Thanks Maskoi! Weird tho, its never happened to me before. Any idea what series of circumstances would cause it to reach that state?

So I am having a similar issue. my maps show named and groundspawns.. but the normal run of the mill spawns in the zone are not showing up. I ran the map.mac, and there is no change. Is there anything else I can try?

i've done that numerous times. its set to show.

below is my mq2map.ini

Rich (BB code):
[Map Filters]
NPC=1
PC=1
Target=1
NPCConColor=1
Chest=1
Trap=1
Ground=1
Trigger=1
Pet=0
All=1
TargetLine=1
PCConColor=0
Corpse=0
NormalLabels=1
Group=1
Menu=0
Timer=1
Untargetable=1
Mount=0
Banner=0
PCCorpse=1
Object=1
NPCCorpse=1
Mercenary=1
Ground-Color=16711935
Named=1
CastRadius=135

Am I missing something really dumb?

Make sure it's loaded,
Rich (BB code):
/plugin mq2map

if mq2map is loaded and that's your mq2map.ini, then the issue may have to do with your UI.

This is probably already resolved for you guys, but I had a similar issue recently and it was because I had named=1 set. I haven't researched it yet, but it appears to be a toggle for whether you're only showing named or not. With named off, I still see named mobs, but I also see the others. May or may not be helpful, but wanted to put it out there.

If someone sees this and I'm wrong, please let me know and I'll modify/delete this post. Thanks.

What happened for me, was for whatever reason, my mapfilters were all whacked.. so i was only seeing the basic EQ map ...

doing the /mac map did a partial fix, but in the end, to get everything back, i manually went in with /mapfilter and line by line re-enabled stuff

was real bizarre, because i never messed with this before..so i dont know how it got changed.. but it did when the sept eq patch happened (and the updates for mq)
