Making an MQUI custom window

Anyone with experience in creating a custom UI window, and having it load up into EQ, based on a macro. Please PM me, I'm working on something and need some help, XML and using UI pieces is out of my league.

I actually wouldn't mind a good write up on this. The one on the MQ2 boards is semi-helpful, but I could never get it to work for me. Plus, the thread it is in is quite old so I'm not even sure if their method even works as posted.

This is the MQ2 method posted on their boards. I tried playing with it a while back with no dice.

I looked into this a while back, and from what I understood, you can only create new windows with Plugins, or with IS.
