Problem - Main character crashing

I am unable to log in my main character due to a crash that happens everytime I click the "Enter World" button on the character load screen. I tried logging in another character on the same server and same account that loads just fine. I checked that characters ini file and there is nothing else there but MQ2Rez entries. I have ISBoxer running for the free trial so that could be causing it now, but I have MQ2Nav set to 0 in the main MacroQuest.ini file since I read that it could cause some problems. I also tried to load the character without ISBoxer running and it is still crashing before entering world.

Anything I could take a look at to fix this problem? I am at a loss as to where to look.

Hm, so the client crashes without either of the mentioned programs running now.

Turns out that creating new server_character.ini file and ui_server_character.ini file solved the problem. Very interesting that this has not happened before in my eq career but good that the fix was so easy

Late to the party, but did you have any MQ2AASpend settings in server_character.ini? Because if you fudge the syntax that plugin crashes your client.

No AASpend settings. I am not yet using that. I am still researching what all the plugins do and what i actually want like myseq vs mq2map.

Sounds like another set of character ui files turning corrupted in the eq folder and having to be replaced. I've seen this a bunch of times with guildies on my server. Make sure to back up your ui files often cause you might have to start over.

Sounds like the combat tab bug. If you somehow end up with the new player ui, with 1 chat box and 2 tabs combat & something else, if you close the combat tab it will cause you to crash from char select. You can detach the tab, move every thing from it an minimize it, but you cant close it out.
