Problem - Mage working well, well, sometimes

My mage do not work very well. Sometimes, he will do what i want but most of the time, i need to restart kissassist every pull. Im pulling with my necro and sometimes, he start to do something at 30% mobs HP sometimes, he do nothing and sometimes, he send his pet when the mob come close (thats what i want).

I do not tank with my pet, but it attacks when my group attacks, so maybe this will help some

If you use EQBC make this change on all toons

I know that the KissAssist doc says that PetHoldOn is no longer in use but mine has always been set to on.

Make sure you do not have your pet set to follow once your at your camp. I normally set mine pretty close to the tank and hit "guard".

Other then that, I would pour over the KissAssist Pull section.

are mobs being tanked outside your 40 radius camp ? maybe try boosting it up a little and see if it helps.

I am playing in VoAlaris content so the necro is tanking ;p. I have a Shaman and the necro can mez but it is totally useless for the VoA content. For the distance 40, it is very weird because my shaman is at 30 and he always slow (but never dot), maybe the slow have no radius?? The mage is supposed to malo but he dont unless the mobs are like 10 foot max of him. I dont use the camp fonction since i always move, doing the quest in VoA. The necro is 110, mage 105 and shaman 103. I would really like to find a good kissassist for the mage, this one is not too bad when it work but all kissassist are outdated at lvl 105 or it is lvl 115. Same for the shaman who almost exclusively slow. I have no idea if he heal at all. I will change the radius to 100 for the mage anyway, his pet move slower than the avatar of water for the cleric epic and i have no idea why since he have velocity. I try to put levi on and off, he is still damn slow and my necro pet is like a rocket. I hate the pet hold, it kill my mage several times before i saw the damn Ghold on. Same for the shaman, i removed it.

Also, do we need to enter the rank of the spells in kissassist?

But it works if you restart the mage in new camps? It sounds like PetTank is holding the old loc as "camp" and when you try to keep group moving it doesn't see the mobs as close enough to the old "camp" loc. Not sure if that's how the code works or not.

If you start the mage, move group away, and then pull the mob back to old camp, does the mage sic the pet?

tbh for mage use ihcmerc... i hae both using ihcmerc the mage way outdps my kiss ini... to point somtimes to much and pulls aggro from paladin.. with ihc u can just use the come to me command if using eqmbc. for kiss... leaving campoff means u can roam also u can try putting mage into hunter role instead.....

Thx all, i think i found a part of the problem, now my camp radius is at 100 and it work way better. Just sometimes, he send the pet when the mobs are at 20% HP but i must admit than i kill pretty fast in VoA so... I think he doesnt look fast enough if there is a mob in the camp and that is the problem. I dont know how often he look in the camp if there is a mob??? Also when i start kissassist, he put his pet on guard and that sux... I will find where is that "guard line" and put it off.
