Question - Mage Symbiosis Line

I have a question concerning the mage ____ Symbiosis line of spells. In the past, when I would add the buff using the Dual tag, like...

Buffs1=Prime Symbiosis|Dual|Prime Symbiosis Recourse

...everything worked as I expected it to. That is, the mage would keep the spell up on himself. After the 6/18 patch, or the switch to KA 7.3, I noticed the mage continually tries to cast the symbiosis line on group members. I ended up moving the spell to a downshit as a quick fix, but wanted to check if there is some configuration that I messed up? Thank you in advance.

Is your Mage actually trying to cast it on every member in your group, or is he just targeting someone in the group and trying to cast it. Mine targets my enchanter but only casts it once, because the spell will only land on the caster.

Hmm, I haven't looked closely enough to check that. I'll take a look when the compile is ready, but I believe that each mage (2 in group at the time) was targeting a different group member and repeatedly casting at that same group member.

I think that was fixed 7.3.1 which is in the compile but i haven't uploaded it to the main KissAssist thread,

It never caused me any issues. It still cast the buff then moved on to next buff.

I noticed this weekend that My mage kept trying to cast Ethereal Symbiosis on my shammy. I did a little research and the TargetType for this spell is Pet2. So I removed this from the BUFFS section of the INI and added to the Pet section. I never saw her cast it on my pet, but it has never shown as a buff on the pet.

You will have to drop the Dual Tag. I don't think it is supported in the pet buff section.

I took a quick scan through the Checkbuffs to see if I could find logic to skip/ignore Spell Targettypes .Find[Pet] but I didn't see anything there that jumped out at me, the logic could just be inclusive to all type that will be cast and exclusive to all other types. I didn't take the time to check for that.

Maskoi, maybe you can shed a little more light on this. Should the Buff be moved the Pet buff section or what would be the best way to set this up?

Are you using the Dual Tag or how do you have yours set?
