Question - Macros and plugins

I have boxed 3 toon since 2000 and stepped away in 2012. I boxed using just Macros I made in the socials and clicked between the toons. I'm new to this forum and new to using plugins. This time around I want to play casual, I have forgot how to even play my main toons. I have created 3 level 1 toons so I can learn all the new changes.
Question is:
I launch Redguides very Vanilla, start eqbc server, login through profile, they auto join bcccmd. Now these are steps im getting hung up on. Do I launch /plugin mq2nav everytime and other plugins?
I have created my Kissassist ini and have /mac kissassit, it is unpredictable (My fault as im tweaking it). When do I unload? and use other macro. I get messages about mq2melee, do I need to launch it too?
So far very pleased, it hasn't been a 30 min up and running group experience for me though. Lol

if you load a plugin with /plugin pluginname it will automatically load next character that logs in / next time you log in. If you wanted a plugin to load just one time and not automatically load you can do /plugin pluginname noauto.

for macros, currently we can only run 1 macro at a time, and we start up that macro by /mac macroname --- in the instance of kiss we do /mac kissassist (or /mac kissassist parameters). This macro is loaded into memory and it will do its macro thing until the macro is ended. you can do an /end to end a macro at any time. you can also do a /mqp on (macro quest pause ON) or an /mqp off (macro quest pause OFF) to pause and un-pause the macro (just stops it termporarily


MQ2Melee is a plugin that handles some stuff automatically - if you would like to use mq2melee you will want to ensure you have UseMQ2Melee=1 in your kissassist.ini --- you don't have to use mq2melee, and some would argue, turn it off would be an easier place to start. If you do decide to turn on mq2melee, ensure you load it /plugin mq2melee then on each character do a /melee load then a /melee save --- this will create some entries in a server_toonname.ini file in your Release folder for mq2melee, where it holds the information on what options you have told mq2melee to use for that character.

Very helpful info, I am still trying to work out my Configs. I'm unable to get Autogroup to work, Leader invites the members but they don't auto accept. Still struggling with my Sk being controlled my MQMelee. I haven't found any parameters for MQ2melee in my Ini file except MQ2Melee=1 or 2 setting.
Since patch problems have increased and wonder if I should just leave things alone for now until the path errors are resolved.
What language is MQ2 wrote in?
Thank you to everyone that has put time into these plugins and Macs. The reason I quit in 2012 was all the work and time spent just doing maintence on my box group. The traveling has been so nice.
