this keeps saying you have no valid spells in your ini file and i have the spells loaded in proper gems etc

This ini was created with KA 12, it uses a different spell loadout, so KA11 won't work the way I uploaded it. It is otherwise compatible, I've tweaked it so that it will work with KA11 now, so if you want to recreate it you can, and it should work fine for you.
