This spot is mentioned in other posts, but I thought I'd share my strategy regardless. I went from 82 to 87 here over the course of a few days, but I admit it was slow at times. I spend most of my time soloing with a merc anyways, so this is a good spot for melee classes.
Set Kissassist to hunter mode, and set your maxradius in your character ini to around 400. Then park your toon and merc at the spot shown as an X on the map. You'll be killing alligators mostly, but this area also contains frogs and grizzlys. If you have a J5 merc you'll be just fine. Make sure to set Fadnare and Kedem on the ignore list, as they are NPCs. With loot on you can make about 5k plat per hour.
