Was experimenting with different plugins (i've usually just setup a kissassist profile and let it go ham missing out on tons of loot/aaspending and all the other cool features on here). I can't figure out how to bring up the console thing to start it though. Currently have autoloot goin but it seems to just loot everything then I need to spend hours going thru and deleting/selling all the garbage when all my toons have full inventories. Any help appreciated <3

I moved your lootly question to the lootly thread

per the lootly overview you:

Start the script by running /lua run lootly

this is using mq "next" and have mq2lua loaded /plugin mq2lua this doesn't and will not work in "MQ2"

ohhh lol I just came back to live assumed MQ next was mq2 I didn't realize it was a separate program

"Next" is the next major iteration/revision of "MacroQuest" as a whole, it will eventually be *the* version that RG builds and supports, but there will some transitional time as next is developed etc where we have both on the launcher.

do your plugins work with next? Sorry if its been asked before I'm trying to find the answer to that but probably searching the wrong phrase or something

this is the lootly thread for lootly questions. there is a stickied thread in the cwtn section > CWTN and Next < (edit: i also pre-emtively setup your next licenses for your cwtn plugins)

Is there a way to set this to actually destroy items during play instead of leaving it when it is set to destroy? It leaves as mess pretty quickly, lol. Getting [INFO] :: [Shared] Item is set to Destroy. Leaving.

Nope - just /hidec alwaysnpc - mess gone!

Appears this doesn't sell items 'not' in a bag? Rizlona slot 8 empty bag slot and any item my war has there doesn't get sold. I can toss that item into a bag and it will sell it then.

Ya, just goes through bags. Bag slots are for bags!

Is it difficult to destroy items? I also wouldn't mind having the ability to destroy items while camping. I highly doubt there are only 2 of us.

Does lootly use autoloot's /setitem gear to autopopulate the required classes for the item? Or do you have to manually type it in ?

Is there a way to "pass out" loot to people in a raid setting? Also, it seems to not like it when a mob drops more than one of a stackable item (ie. Phosphorous Powder x2) and waits until the advanced loot window loot-roll before moving on.

See the raid looting section on the overview. Re stackable items, need more info to reproduce - I tested this in solo/group/raid settings and didn't run into issues.

Thanks for the reply.

Raidlooting:

Character 1 (Master Looter) - Item marked keep.
Character 2 - Item marked keep.

Item drops. Item goes to Character 1. Every time. Mark item ignore? Left on corpse, never goes to Character 2.

Stackables:

With raidlooting on, Plane of Fire, Phosphorous Powder set to "sell." They drop stacked in 2's. Lootly outputs it is assigning it to the Master Looter, but it never leaves the advanced looting window. When it rolls out through the in-game advanced looting feature and disappears, it then assigns each other drop (that dropped x1) as expected. If you set them to Ignore, or Destroy, they are left as expected.

That seems to have fixed it! I suppose the documentation leans heavily on prior Autoloot usage, which I didn't do.

May I make a suggestion?

"Tribute" tag - /setitem tribute - target tribute and sells items marked to the tribute masters
"Tradeskill" tag - /setitem tradeskills - opens housing item storage and moves all items marked as tradeskill to the storage
"Collectible" tag - /setitem collectible - opens housing item storage and moves all items marked as collectible to the housing storage

These would be awesome to have!

I'd be open to including the tribute setting, the other stuff could be handled with a dedicated Lua for trade skill / collectibles.

Im getting a wall of red text when i run /lootly convert loot.ini
I ran the migrator and i have the loot.ini, lootly.ini, and Lootly_loot.ini in my Next config folder. any thoughts on why?
