loot question

Is there anyway for someone to know what is on a corpse before looting? Just wondering because everytime I group with this person, he rarely loots, but everytime he does, its something really good lol..just wondering..

maybe he's doing what i do, /hidecorpses looted, check everything but only actually loot good stuff
