Sod modified there eqgame.exe a little while back. From my understanding its a completely separate beast. They busted a ton of MQ users on there server and then did the modifications to eqgame.exe. Pretty much its a lost cause using MQ2 on that server...

Are you playing on the live severs but only the SoD Expansion?

think he is useing the SoD expansion to play on Project 1999 or EZ Server or Hidden forest or PEQ.
There is a EMU server called SoD and its seems like he says hes not playing on that EMU server but other servers
