Problem - Login crashes

Hi all, i am newbie here. I just joined RedGuides, 2nd day of sub. I was unable to log into my char thru MQ launcher
on my pc yesterday.

I DLed MQ2 launcher successfully. Then tried to login thru Very
Vanilla. It goes to character selection screen each time, but always crashes while loading a character.

First i thought my custom UI was causing the problem so i made a new EQ
account, and new character without using custom UI but still same crash happens.


I get the same error message every time.

so far I have tried to

- search similar post in this forum
- logging in as admin (both eq & mq2)
- both manual and auto login
- made new account and level1 char
- set the keybinds to default on new account

Kernelbase could be anything - even not mq related.

I would start by checking you're not file scanning stuff through AV/Defender and considering whitelisting those directories (RG/mq/eq).

Thanks for the reply. I am not pc expert and do not really know what to do at this point. My desktop pc is really
old and have been wanting to buy a new laptop anyway.. so that is the plan now lol. I hope mq2 works fine on my
new pc. I will let you know the update. Thanks!

We all certainly want you to have a good experience, as crash free as possible, so keep us in the loop
