So I have a group/.

Warrior
cleric
rogue
bard
chanter


How do I make it so the bard pulls? I have /mac kissassist on all toons warrior is set to MT cleric on /mac autocleric just cannot seem to figure out how to setup a puller please me thank

I dont even see this .INI file these guides mention like I said all I've done is /mac kissassist on my warrior
 
I've found that sometimes having role set as puller in ini is not enough. On the bard, target your warrior and type /mac kissassist puller

That worked!

But this is what I saw

the bard pulls but not back to the camp. My warior just stood there as did my other toons
 
The ini files are in your macro folder, in your MQ2 folder. They're kissassist_toonname.ini

You can edit them with abilities to use, and what to pull with, etc. Reading through the post that Brian linked up there will help you work through them.
 
Well I don't have anymore time to fool around with it tonight "3AM comes early" I'll fiddle some more with it tomorrow if I need anymore help I'll post it here so please keep an eye on this post for me

There is 2 things you need to set. Also you do want to make sure you read threw manual cause all the answers are there your really just not searching for it and expecting answers which is okay but this will take awhile as some people don't check taptalk or redguides 24/7.


Under .ini file for PULL

[Pull]
PullWith=Extravagant Infused Recurve Bow|Ethereal Arrow
MaxRadius=400
MaxZRange=200
PullWait=0
PullRoleToggle=0
PullTwistOn=0 (Bard only)

Need to put pullroletoggle to a 1 for on
PullWith set to what you want bard to pull mobs with IE spell or item

Then under the .ini file @ the top it says role you mark that role as Puller and thats it. Remember to set you pull distance as well to where you camping as some locations need farther and some need shorter. You really just need to read threw and do a Ctrl F for find and search for a basic term your looking for.

Also you want to set returntocamp to 1
Camp radius I would say turn down on bard to about 20 and tank to about 30 so tank engaged before mob beats crap out of bard and set tank .ini file to 100 for melee engagement



Edit--- Also Download Notepad++ if your new to setting up .ini files it will make it so much easier for you and help with the learning curve. Also if have questions reply in thread or PM me always willing to help.
To access the .ini per toon go to your MQ2 folder and click on macros and you should see the kissassist ones

So I got my bard pulling and my tank assisting him.

My rogue attacks but non of my other toons do anything at all they wont cast any spells or even auto attack all they do is follow my tank around. my group clearly looks like bots lol

My cleric refuses to med.

This is what I'm trying to do. Bard pulls brings mob back to camp, warrior picks up mob, bard runs off to pull again while group kills. I want my casters "Mage, chanter" to med the whole time and cast spells when needed "IE crack, DMG shield," I want my cleric to always med and heal/buff when needed.
 
I need to see your War .ini file and Bards .ini to see where your messing up man also if your using kissassist to heal let me see cleric's .ini too so I can see what we are working with. Not a macro writer myself but I do understand these .ini files pretty well.

on all your toons
2.) on all toons type
/bccmd set auto connect on
3.) on all toons type

4.) Make a hotkey with this command

, and they all should follow you .

and need to use a song to pull im sure your melee plugin is sticking you to the mob not allowing you to return to camp

/bccmd set auto connect on doesn't do anything says invalid "set auto"
 
lol, it's "autoconnect" (one word) -- and once you do all this alt-tabbing, then you never have to again (kind of the point of EQBC)

I just got kissassist I'm 100% new so just telling me to input commands isn't going to cut it lol I need step by step

but i'm also working 90+ hour weeks right now so I also don't have time to read pages are crap to get this working thats why I'm asking how to simply set up my group how I want it and go




can I please just get an idiot proof guide? you gave me a link that explains nothing... nothing on that page works for me this is now day two of trying to simply set up a bot starting to get a little frustrated here

an idiot proof guide isn't going to be a quick read... But those guides are pretty short and tell you everything you need.
 
No offense intended bud, but KA is about the most user friendly macro you're going to find. You need to spend some time and read all of the links Dannuic posted. Once you've done that I'd start small and take 1 toon, say your healer and work on getting them setup and healing properly. Then take your tank and set him up to tank and use abilities properly. Then continue on for dps etc. It will take some trial and error, all of us have gone through it and trust me it's better to take the time to try and learn it yourself rather than have no clue what's going on and just copy pasting commands people post in threads.

So take your time and read up first. You want a fool proof guide, well click those links above and read up. They're as fool proof as you're going to get.
 
dude have you type /mac kissassist puller and your ini file needs some setting up on the pull section

no just /mac kissassist

people have made some very nice ini files for characters if your looking for a quick set up i suggest you copy those and thank the creators just do a couple of tweeks as to chaseassist etc

Like I said with the EQBC it isn't working I read the guide I downloaded the windows server thing and type /bccmd connect it says "cannot connet"

So, in your MQ2 directory, you found `MQ2EQBCS.exe` and you ran it, then you ran `/bccmd connect` in an EQ instance. Are they both on the same computer?

it only connects on my tank all other toons says failed to connect and yes all 6 toons are on one PC

Okay so I got most of everything figured out that I want to do at this moment.

One thing I need some insight on is camp radius. Right now my bard pulls and my tank instantly chases down the mob I dont want that I want a tighter group. I want my bard to pull bring it back to camp and then my tank engages not him chasing down the mob miles away

I've added skills and spells to all my toons since this post was made the one thing I cannot figure out is how to make my rogue back stab and no one will simply just tell me how.
 
And where do I put this line of code at??

Into eq2melee.dll? If so how do I open the .dll?
 
You input those commands while logged into your rogue. He should start backstabbing whenever autoattack is on at that point.
 
Thank you guys for the help I got one more question for the day if you don't mind.

How do I make it to so one person loots items? say I want my tank to loot everything or to just loot say the FBSS when it drops how would I set something like that up? and how do I make all my other toons auto accept my group invite when I log them all on?
 
If you have all your toons logged in and connected to EQBC, you can do:

Rich (BB code): 
/bcaa //autoaccept add tankname
/bcaa //autoaccept save


Setting the looton=1 in your warriors ini and setting him as master looter should have him loot everything. You may need to add the FBSS to your loot.ini as =keep though, I'll have to check on that.
