Red's note:
Charmed players are much more powerful than normal ones, as are linkdead players. Be sure to wear a lot of negative magic gear to get your MR as low as possible.
As for linkdead players, while they are in a LD state they are also much more powerful. Any restrictions on their weapons fades, so you can put a 50 DMG axe on a level 9 and he'll hit for 100 (rather than 20). I've found this to be especially funny on PvP servers, start a fight then pull the plug. Just make sure you have a friend to take screenshots of the mayhem for you.
Anyway, thank you Hamburgler. I hope your subscription runs out more often so we can see more of your tricks.
This is an exploit I have currently been using for awhile now, but how useful to you it is unknown to me, But I love it.
First, when a player goes LD they become charmable, I have recently found this VERY beneficial with taking down the harder mobs and getting very good exp.. I personally charm my Druid with my Bard, seems to be a great duo.
Another thing I have been doing is taking my twink 52 monk into naggy/vox lair and causing him to go LD.. When this is done you can heal/buff the monk with a much higher character as much as you want without getting banished!! I have done this 100s of times now and made LOTS of pp
Of course this is for EQ1
Thanks in Advance,
The Hamburgler
