It's happening if you use the install file also.

Everything loads up fine without any "incorrect version" warning and it looks like you are all good to go but within a few minutes EverQuest simply crashes.

Yeah, they're trying to fix the horrible log in times it looks like :P So at least it's for good changes (and very needed changes)

You can now run Test and Live versions of the Very Vanilla compile at the same time. Just make sure they're in different folders.

And for those who don't know: You can use the same account to play on live & test at the same time.

Compile updated, reverted to old macroquest2.exe due to false-positive issues with new .exe. No other changes.

Microsoft cleared Macroquest2.exe, Windows Defender will no longer think it's a virus

MQ2 Devs:
Fixed a crash in mq2map. Thanks to everyone that sent in crash dumps.

Updated for TEST
This will get u in game, but there are still some stuff that needs fixed,
the Caps needs calced for example.
I just wont spend to much time on it now, since one or more repatches are likely.

Maintenance release PART II:
Added .IsSwarmSpell to the Spell TLO, it return TRUE/FALSE if a spell is a swarmspell or not.
Usage: /echo ${Spell[Chattering Bones].IsSwarmSpell}
Output: TRUE
Fixed the offset for EQ_PC__GetCombatAbilityTimer_x (again)
Fixed another crash in mq2map.

Sadly test had a small patch again today.

Pretty cool new way to convert old quest augs like fabled orb of king/ shards landing one atleast.

Sucks besides recent patch botched it as soon as they had that mess, and hate to ask ;P

But any idea if mule is working on test soon? :)

EQ is so miserable without. Rofl

Note that the following Values was removed from the ITEMINFO Struct in the TEST build:
.Accuracy
.StrikeThrough
.Avoidance
.DoTShielding
.SpellShield
.StunResist
.CombatEffects
.Shielding
.DamageShieldMitigation
Its unlikely that these will return, but I will know in a few days when I have had more time to investigate this.
I *MIGHT* create wrapper functions for these values like ((EQ_Item*)pItem)->GetAccuracy();.
BUT IF YOU HAVE PLUGINS OR MACROS THAT USE THESE VALUES: //Comment them out for now...
I will know more before this stuff gets pushed to the LIVE client next week...

That is the Server is back up and running but the Red Guides Compile seems to be broken..

No it doesnt work.

And I would suggest them not even wasting the time because at the rate its crashing they are going to have to have some kind of fix here again soon for it

Test is down, a new eqgame downloaded but official forum post as no ETA for investigating the source of the crash.
