The ore method was vastly better in my opinion. Leave it like that and make the ores more rare...or even make missions drop 1/4 of an ore or something...but wasting drops on my 97th wrist sucks

Did they reduce the drop rate, particularly in missions? I've run 6 missions over yesterday and today and had no gallant pieces drop at all. I've also killed about 7 named mobs and seen no drops. Normally with this many kills/missions I'd expect to see about 6-7 pieces drop.

PS I liked the ore method better as well.

I have yet to see any rings or face drops and everything else i get is super rare all my toons are done with whole expansion and still need bunch of the Gallant Tradeskill stuff why make it drop so rare!!

My drop rate size is only a few hundred bosses, but I see t3 armor at about a 1/6 or 1/7 drop rate at best (and some of that was 3 straight uncia dropping armor), fort/heroism has been 1/4, weapon ores at 1/4 , and non-vis ores at 1/5.

Armor just seems rarer (and its awful because if you need ores, you need the most of those, by far).


Also, for the guaranteed table drop, Augs, from every mob that drops them, seem to be right at 20%.

finaly the best way to have T3 ores is to stay in laurion's inn zone, having a camp and be ready to move on nameds when the zone is repoping. In my server there are 2 (3?) duplicate laurion's inn zones, scouting them grant you a lot of nameds kills.

i didnt noticed a difference between tier 1 and tier 2 nameds about T3 ores drop rate.

If you were getting 2/3rd - that's amazing. Myself and most I speak with have averaged more like 1/6 or 1/7 since the start and full average.

RNG went your way at the start. Always good when that happens.
