Question - launcher / patchme paranoia

I'm fairly new to this, as of a week ago and i'm slowly testing out all the potential
but during the patch down time I read again through the beginners guide - Patchme post and it just now saw it mentioned a spyware in the EQ launcher to detect MQ.

I had been just launching MQ after being in character selection screen but seeing as i'm swapping boxes in and out as i'm playing with different groups, and late at night I believe its possible that i've been sloppy started it up while MQ was already running, and now as result i'm afraid i'm on some secret list of potential offenders on SoEs side.
Someone tell me i'm just paranoid, there is no list, SoE isn't tapping my phone, and the launcher won't work with MQ2!
