Awesome update Maskoi! All these Bard improvements will probably keep my bard around even after the Dicho nerf goes live.

Were you able to recreate the issue with firing combat abilities while a disc is running on Zerker?

PS. I had like 20-30 holys on all my chars back in the Kiss 6 days and now with Kiss 9 I have maybe 4-8 Holys max, most of which I can probably still move to KISS. Really impressed with the progression of this macro.

Not sure if it's intended or avoidable, but when using CONTINUOUS for melee twist it does restart twisting when you go back to normal twist. Really not a big deal since you are going out of combat, but just thought it might be noteworthy.

CONTINUOUS never stops twisting. I am not sure what you are asking.

It does not. But for me at least this happens:

normal twist runs, mob gets pulled
combat starts, twist continues without restarting
combat ends, normal twist is triggered and twist cycle starts over from the beginning instead of just continuing like when going into combat.

As I said not a big deal as you are going out of combat anyhow.

What I've been doing up until this change is setting MeleeTwistOn=0 and just keeping my full twist in TwistWhat. This way, all my main songs stay up at all times (unless he spends too much time mezzing) and there's no restarting between each combat. I was firing Crescendo and Dicho with a Shit (/twist once).

It looks like these changes make it so I can get rid of the shit and put Dicho/Crescendo in the buffs section. Good stuff!

Problem:
Berserker does not cast zero duration disciplines (Ex. Axe of Numicia, Vanquishing Frenzy, Demolishing Volley, Dichotomic Rage) while a discipline is active in the combat abilities window (Ex. Savage Spirit, Brutal Discipline).

Ran with this modified KA.mac on all my characters through all my TBM HAs last night and saw zero strange behavior other than enjoying my Berserker using his special attacks while discing (without having to trigger them through shits). I imagine this was affecting other classes like Monks, Warriors and Rogues, but I don't know if they have many disc-based instant combat abilities.

Can you explain the logic behind this change? I added the radius 100 back to mine, not sure if this was an intentional change or not, just pointing out for others.

If you die out of range of your camp, or get a bugged corpse that can't be looted/rez'd (Happens, but not often, these corpses don't disappear until server reset) you will be considered dead.

Yes thats the fix to toons just stading around after a rez. It now looks at the entire zone for corpses instead of 100 feet to turn off the i am dead flag

KissAssist will now mem the spell list ini files created by /writespells


Make sure you guys noticed this one :P
It underscores the importance of people adding /writespells to their INI's that they post. We can now easily just /memspells and go from ZeroToHero

Who says where you died and where you are rezd are within 100' of each other. Running instances made the 100' useless. Zone wide is KISS keep it simple stupid. since its part of a || or statement just made more sense to me

If you are running instances that makes sense.
I'm thinking more when you are camped around a campfire outside of an instance using ClickBacktoCamp=1

P.S. This bard release has been pretty awesome. I'm only testing on one bard right now, but the fact that I can add long duration songs to DPS/Buffs and not have to hack around the system = AWESOME.
Continuous twist with: DPS1=Requiem of Time|99|Once has been great.

Lyrical Prankster + Swarm Pet song is also great...

Glad you like it. I spent a hard 3 weeks reviewing the Bard and all their new abilities. I haven't touched the bard code in years I thought it was about time.

Still a rough spot or 2 to fix but i am really happy with the way it is now handling bards.

Then it would never fire an instant duration /disc as far as I understand your code in that section. With the &&, you're saying that a disc MUST have a duration greater than zero AND no currently active disc for it to pass. I'm not spotting a "/disc" command anywhere else that it could be caught in that sub, how does it handle instant discs in that situation?

With the below, if the disc has a duration greater than zero (meaning it would conflict with any other active disc), it can only pass if there isn't an active disc. If the disc's duration is zero, then it passes automatically because it won't conflict with anything. To me that definitely seems like the intended function of this particular if check.

I understand why we need this check:

But what might need to be added to it is this:

/if (!${Spell[${castWhat}].Duration.TotalSeconds} || (${Spell[${castWhat}].Duration.TotalSeconds} && !${Me.ActiveDisc.ID})) {

I am not totally sure why the ${Spell[${castWhat}].Duration.TotalSeconds} is being checked. When this is to check for a combat ability. Not sure why ${Me.CombatAbilityTimer[${castWhat}]} is not being used?

CombatAbilityTimer[name|#] The time remaining (in seconds) before the Combat Ability name is usable
not if it has duration.

It doesn't need the second check for duration since it's already being checked by the first condition.
