Problem - Kissassist Question, Mage casting when invis, breaking invis

While using Kissassist, my Mage will cast even while INVIS while i'm trying to move my group to another location, thus attracting unwanted attention while univis. My Wizards do not have this behavior. I can't figure out a solution.
I've watch him mostly cast buffs and rebuffs to his pet and doesn't honor the group invis!!

I had that problem with my mages and enchanters.

I ended up turning buffs off = 0 because of that exact reason.

Maybe there is a way to inject BuffsOn=1 with some kind of BuffsOn=0 if invisible?

I'm no coder but maybe it can be done! Would be great!

Also when I am moving like you are saying I will hit my /end hotkey then just simply hit /kiss hotkey and turn KA back on when I am ready.
 
Kiss should not be buffing ever when invis. Do you what spell he is casting when he breaks it. It should be the same one every time.
 
The magician broke invis, casting Virulent Talon, Companion's Aegis, and Dark Symbiosis on pet using the above .ini
I believe he also broke invis to summon Wand of Dark Modulation, and Shield of Consequence.

Well ... CheckPetBuffs routine has a proper call for exiting the function if invised:

/if (${Me.Invis}) /return

However... I'm seeing something that stands out as a red flag in the CheckBuffs section.

All major and minor sections that deal with any buffing / summoning / curing / rezing / healing has the standard /if (${Me.Invis}) /return line...

However CheckBuffs has

/if (${Me.Invis} && ${Me.Class.Name.NotEqual[Rogue]}) /return

this should not effect anything.... and should still maintain invis / not break it / to cast stuff



Do you maintain any automatic buffing outsie of KissAssist ??? Like usiung downshits via mq2melee to maintain self clicky or spell buffs ?


THat could be messing you up if you dont have a global downshitif to take into account invis state.

Get kiss running and put up invis on your mage then hit the hot key.

Lets us know what you get. There were some changes this last patch, I know I found one of them. They reclassified some throwing items that were classified as ammo to Throwingv1. So there could be some other things we are not aware of..
 
I run the standard mq2melee, but don't have anything defined for downshits/holyshits. I did also notice my enchanter also casting a group 105 Voice (mindbuff) and breaking invis too. Odd, just the 2 characters enc and mage breaks invis.

I only found 1 place where this might happen and it would be if the Mage needed to heal their pet. I can't get my group to cast if they are invised. Now if you invis the group when everyone is in the middle of buffing, then invis will be broken because they are in the buff routine buffing and the check for invis is checked at the top of the buff routine and not before casting each buff...

I invised my whole group and then started KA and they all just stood there. Dropped Invis and they all started casting. Tried to invis the group and some of them broke invis, but that was bad timing on my part. Waited till everyone was finished buffing and cast group invis. Started clicking off buffs on each of my characters and could not get a single one to start casting.. I even clicked buffs off my pet..
 
Hmm, I usually invis my group after a fight, and move my group to another location as I'm trying to kill PHs at multiple locations. Perhaps after a fight, they are in that buff routine as you say and will break invis. I've seen my enchanter cast auras and break invis, think my cleric also cast an aura and shining bulwark on the tank, and definitely the mage buffing his pet and himself.

I LOVE kissassist, makes my life easier as a boxer. I'm just trying to figure out if there is a solution for the invis breaks that slows down the game to rez and med up the caster.
 
so if they are in the rebuff cycle, when they are invised, they will continue to cast as if they not been invised?.

i was wondering, now, is there a way we could get an announcement in the mq2 window that buff cycle started, need x buffs out of x buffs to finish cycle etc.?

this way we know we need to wait a bit, could also be announced in eqbcs, that cleric is in buff cycle, at buff 3 out of 5 please hold on.
 
I have a very similar issue as this with one of my wizards. While invis, I'll use EQBC to target my tank and stick to him. My wizard (while invis) will target the tank and start casting on him. The odd part is that this behavior does not always occur. I've not been able to figure out how to duplicate it and it doesn't happen often enough so I haven't tried to fix it. Instead, if my wiz dies, I'll just leave him while I run the rest of the group to a camp then campfire him in.

I also have an enchanter, 2nd wizard and mage in my group, but they do not cast when they're invis like my wiz does. I don't use any downs/holies either. I've had this issue a couple months now.

I noticed Warmonger and surfdog both mentioned that they have this issue when "moving" as well, so maybe this is happening because of how we move our groups? Do you all use EQBC? As Maskoi said, I don't think this is a KA issue as I've never noticed KA break invis.
