Problem - KissAssist PullerTank extreme lag

Hello folks,

I'm a new fairly new MQ2/Kissassist user, Ive had good luck learning the macros and getting my 3-box party working smoothly as Ive learned the ropes. The problem I'm having is that my SK, running KissAssist as 'PullerTank', is gradually accumulating lag each play session to the point where about an hour in he is getting 2-3 FPS. My other toons (mage/enchanter) which are running KissAssist as 'Assist' are getting no lag at all. Anyone able to help get my SK back on track? I've searched around the forums a bit, but it seems like the lag problems other folks are running into stem from boxxing upwards of 18 toons, which makes more sense to me. At its worst, i'll be in combat with my SK at 2-3 FPS (in the foreground), with my Mage/Ench at ~20fps (in the background), checking my resources im sitting at about 50% cpu usage and 50% physical memory usage. Upon hitting '/mqp' to pause my SK's macro, the lag fades and he returns to 30fps indefinitely. Being fairly novice with these programs, I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas? Thanks!

Update: Just did a test and the lag on my SK stems from running any KissAssist macro... Assist, Tank, PullerTank..... other toons no lag whatsoever.

First I run a pullertank and do not have this issue. So this is what I would try. First make sure you have your Max Frames Per Second set to 60 and your Max Background FPS set to like 50. Create a hotkey that will flush all events. /doevents flush and when you see your lagging hit the hotkey.

There are only 3 things I have found that causes lag after playing for a while:

1. Events that never get flushed.
2. FPS set to low.
3. Network issues that cause you to drop packets and slow things down.

Sure there are other things that can cause this to happen, but all things equal, when playing just 3 characters these are what have tripped me up.

Thanks for the response!

I have upped the FPS for my SK, 60FPS max, 50FPS max background (ENCH/MAGE still at 30 max/min background, but they are experiencing zero lag). Connection should be fine, 100Mbps connection. Im not certain if the '/doevents flush' is doing anything or not, i'm not seeing any text prompt confirming that it has processes or notice any increase in FPS. Still getting big time reduction in FPS after ~1.5-2hrs. Re-logging the toon when the lag gets bad refreshes everything, but having to do this every 1.5 hrs or so is still kind of a nuisance. Any other ideas?

Update: For a reference, with FPS max set to 60, my out of combat FPS hovers around 40-50 FPS and in-combat (3 mobs) hovers around 30 immediately after re-logging. At 1.5 hr combat FPS around 14. At 2 hr combat FPS 1-3.

Make sure you have mq2log unloaded just to test. I remember having an issue like this once when I turned on MQ2Log and forgot to turn it off.

Sorry to necro the thread, but I'm experiencing the same issue on my SK with PullerTank.
This even happens with MQ2EQWire. My PC has pretty nice specs, 3900x, 32gb RAM, 2080ti

Not running many plugins, tried disabling mq2hud, disabling mq2advdps, disabling mq2log, nothing seems to make a difference besides camping.

Weird problem.

Sorry forgot to mention when testing without MQ@EQWire I have max frames set to 60, min to 30.
I have cpuaffinity=-1 setup in my eqclient.ini
Running KAV12 Beta, I did try on KA11 and it had the same lag issue after an hour or two.

Anyone else know any other tricks? Seems really weird that its only the PullerTank that lags, all other characters run smooth as butter.

Here is the pull section from my SK's INI

Hey Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure that those are the issues as I think they would affect all 6 boxes, not just my SK PullerTank.
I've also followed the Fanra / Almar guide.

As I mentioned earlier my PC has nice specs. Has 0 issues running any modern games at maximum settings.

When it starts getting extremely laggy around 1-2 hours into running, if I /endmac on kissassist the lag stops immediately.
If I restart the macro the lag starts back up again.

If I /camp and log back in, its good for another 1-2 hours.

Edit: I also just tried /endmac on Kissassist when it was getting super laggy, went and pulled some stuff manually and fought it with mq2melee on and it wasn't laggy.

Do you use 1 folder per account ?
So, you can set different settings for any accounts & if 1 EQ crash the others are not crashing too.
Have you check your Logs size ?

Right now I'm running them all from 1 folder.

I was running from 2 folders (SK main on nice settings folder), (5 boxes on low settings folder)
Right now I'm running all 6 from the nice settings folder, was hoping to see all 6 lagging but the 5 other boxes run great, SK still lags.

I have mq2log unloaded (checked the mq2logs folder and it had 2 300kb files)
I don't use gamparse or anything so I have EQ logs turned off (checked the EQ logs folder and its empty)

Do any of these conditions look bizarre? I just relogged so I cleared the lag, the next time it starts lagging I think I might remove them all temporarily to see if it fixes the issue.

Sometimes taking unloading mq2exchange mq2xassist and mq2xptracker helps me

Here are the plugins in my mq2.ini,
I will try turning off mq2exchange
