Question - Kissassist Pet Buff issue

I'm trying to run my grp with Necro pulling and using KS as well. He has an annoying habit of grabbing agro at spawn location then while being beat on mems "Sigil of Decay" EVERY TIME! He tends to get a quite a beating but generally lives. "Sigil of Decay" is a 2 hour spell, is there any way to set the time in the [Pet] section to stop this behavior? I have PetBuffs turned off. If I'm missing something please be kind

Post your ini file. sounds like you might be using that slot for your alternate swap slot.

Thank you for your response. I very well may be BUT it really does not matter what slot meming a 2 hour buff and casting it each time I pull no matter what slot is just not good behavior.

Posting your ini could be useful. A misshap in dps-section could cause such behavior.

If the spell is in a slot, it shouldn't have to mem it again and again. is what i meant. but if it is memmed and he casts it over and over that is something with the ini not checking the buff properly.

I understand, my issue though is the spell should not be cast every 2 to 3 min when it has a duration of over 2 hours. I do not want to take up a slot for a 2 hour buff I guess is my point. If every 2 hours he stops, mems the spell, and cast it on his pet then I'm okay with that.

Perhaps I should look at doing a condition. I haven't stepped into writing conditions yet maybe it is time.

Well if the buff wears off he will cast it again and again when needed, if the buff is still on the pet and he keeps casting it over and over something is wrong in your ini file, which no one will be able to help with that until we see your ini file.

Fair enough. I have PetBuffs turned off on this version due to this issue. Spell is not wearing off on pet btw.

REALLY, very odd.... I just verified that information. Very odd indeed. I will see if there is a work around somehow. What about setting it as a buff on a 2 hr timer? it only cast on pet anyway.

I am surprised that it's not casting Companion's Aegis over and over every time your pet gets aggro. , but i don't see why there is an issue with him casting Sigil of Decay.

But you really should have to have those conditions to check if the buff isn't there. Are you using kissassist?

I missed our condition post Cannon, sorry. I will try that at some point after I finish ToFS Hunters. Thanks for you input.

Sorry editing this post and sending my apologies. The answer is the first thing that should of occurred to me. Torrent of Anguish is blocking it. Need to determine how that will effect my SK by not casting it. I feel pretty stupid, obvious solution was to cast the spell while medding so I could see clearly the emotes. Oh well

this will happen again, and again. And it happens to us all. Nothing is really crystalclear when it comes to macros and ini configurations. Well, maybe it is, but sometimes it takes a shitload of time to figure it out.

I just had the same weirdness - I just blocked the spell on the pet and that took care of the issue of Sigil not working on the pet.
