Idea - Kissassist ini-file syntax validator/"drop-down-style-editor"

Hi,

I just had the thought that there might be some tools available that through configuration could do one of the two:

1) Make a syntax check on the ini-file
2) Edit the ini-file so that only legal options are presented, for example in the dps-field.

The only thing I remember about syntax-checking is that it is done with recursive functions :-)

I am guessing that it is too much of an effort to actually do this, but it could be fun to explore and formulate the options anyway.

That would be some heavy programming and most likely a plugin. We do have a surprise coming at the end of October it might help with that so keep your eyes open for it.

if you have MQ2notepad loaded you /kissedit your ini in game though. just make you have the mq2notepad gui loaded into your everquest default ui folder.
