Are you getting any errors messages when you run the command? /Mac kissassist assist?

The errors should show in the EQBC channel. If you are getting any errors. What's the toon doing after starting? Just standing around playing guess that smell?

i actually just noticed... tbh that its still casting lower level spells on my pet.. vs what i currently have.. is there a way to "refresh" the spells in kiss assist? maybe thats the issue all along

Are the spells in the ini the proper one's to use? Apologies as I'm not familiar with the beast spells. If they are and you don't have that set memmed it won't be able to cast them. I'm on my phone right now so can't look it up, but look at the spell set option in the documentation. This allows you to set up a set of spells to memorize. (These should be the ones you've told the ini to use)Then you can start the macro and use /memmyspells to memorize them.

If you mean is there a way to have the ini update all the spells with the latest version, there is not. You'll have to do that manually.

i dont mind manually doing it. but it seems like its remembering my old spells.. like theres another ini file somewhere cause its doing Spirit of Inferno instead of Spirit of lighting

Question not sure if its kissassist or another plugin or macro but what makes your main charactor stay in a "camp" area? is there a command or certain plugin you need? Thanks

I would recommend taking a look a the video Sic put up that helps explain this and more found HERE.

Kiss has a setting that makes the tank set a camp but you will also want to do this on your other toons as explained in the video.

Here is a link to the Kissassist commands page as well. I would recommend reading through it so you can see all of what Kiss has to offer.

You should look at the kiss assist wiki for information about kissassist

The movement video guide has both a character on kiss assist and other characters not on kiss.

You will still want to read the wiki and understand how those things function in kiss assist

yes. that stuff is for the cwtn class plugins and only some of it is for kissassist which is why i said to check the kiss wiki and that the vid you were linked doesn't entirely apply

Each plug-in is $20 per year. You can run multiple toons on one license though. So if you have 2 mages, you can purchase one license and load it on each mage.

EDIT - Unless you're on test server or want to try them out for free on test server by copying your characters over using /testcopy from each toon.

psymorph is correct.

you can do just fine with kiss - either one you still have to read and understand how to use the commands for them.

the kiss wiki is pretty good - check it out

I just checked it out but i have another question should i use chase or follow if my charactors keep jumping (and using all there Stamina?)

I think the general consensus is that afollow/follow is pretty poo poo. I hardly use the "follow me" command in the group window either.

Assuming you have your alts setup in assist mode on KA and your main toon/tank is set to MA, you can have the toons use the command below

/bcg //chaseon
/bcg //chaseoff
or /dgge if you're using dannet

They should follow your MA pretty reliably (nothing is perfect, especially in dungeons or hilly areas).

The page also shows the command below, but I have not personally used it with a toon name. I use a hotkey to tell the alts to turn chase on/off depending on what I am doing as shown above.

Sonic Disturbance. but it wont pull with it.

Got another random question when pulling with Kissassist ive noticed theres a 10 second delay before the puller attacks after hes back to camp is there a way to speed this up?

Is your AssistAt in the [Melee] section less than 100%? e.g. AssistAt=95? KA is a little slow to pick up assist, but in-group they should generally pick up within a % or two if you're killing at a moderate speed. If it's set to a lower number, puller is going to wait until that number to attack. Read the KA wiki. Then look over your INI, then re-read the KA wiki. You'll be thankful for the time well spent learning the settings and thinking about what each line is doing for your character.
