I have a feature request for kissassist. It is a two part thing primarily for Druids and Shaman, but could also be for anyone that can heal. Part 1 is "savemymana" and Part 2 is "Backuphealer". This could be a section included in the ini file for individual characters.
In the savemymana section, you could define a mana% and if you get down to that point you stop the DPS chain and only cast heals. There could even be an "Except for" where you could define dps spells to continue casting.
For example, it might look something like this.
savemymana=1
savemymanaifbelow=30
smmException1=Ensnare|95
smmException2=Drifting Death|94
smmException3=NULL
smmException4=NULL
smmException5=NULL
In this case, a Druid would use his normal DPS chain until his mana went below 30%. At that point, he would stop using the DPS chain, and would only cast things in the smmException list. so in this case he would continue casting Ensnare and Drifting Death, but nothing else listed under DPS. He WOULD, however, continue casting anything listed in his "Heals" section.
The other section defined "Backuphealer" would worked based on a listed primary healer's Mana level, or if the primary healer dies. It would cause the Druid to stop casting DPS spells, unless listed in THIS exception section which could be different from the previous one, BUT, it would ALSO allow you to redefine the heals section. So in this case he would ALSO stop casting anything listed under heals, and change to the new "Backupheals" section. This is because as a backuphealer, you probably have the health % set pretty low for him in the main heals section since there is a Cleric in the group, but if the Druid is to be the backup healer, then you would want that to change.
For example, My Druid "Reagis" is in a group with a Cleric "Numdani".
Reagis's normal heals section may have 2 heals already listed. Maybe a quick casting heal and a big heal, but since there is a cleric...it might look like this.
Heal1=bigheals|40
Heal2=fastheals|25
Heal3=NULL
So the new section might look like this....
Backuphealer=1
PrimaryHealerName=Numdani
Backuphealifmainbelow=15
Backuphealifmaindead=1
buDPSException1=Ensnare|95
buDPSException2=NULL
buHeal1=bigheals|65
buHeal2=fastheals|40
So in this example, Reagis would take over primary healer if Numdani dropped below 15%mana or if she died. His big heal spells would now be cast at 65% instead of the previous 40% listed in his normal heals section and the fast heal would now be cast at 40% instead of 25%. He also would stop all DPS activity except for ensnare.
Just my 2 cents, I think it would be a great addition. Let me know what you think.
