Question - Kiss Outside of Group

Is there a way to run Kissassist On a Druid Outside of Group ???? Just for Back up Heals and DS buffs?

I don't understand xtarget just yet, but I've always been able to assist from outside the group by targeting the tank and clicking my /mac kissassist hotbutton.

My group hasn't died yet. Buffs are cast.. everything is good.
