I am also having trouble loading MQ after Wednesday's patch. Before the patch I would get some errors when trying to load MQ, but once I assigned EQ and MQ to load in admin, it worked for me. After updating the EQ client last night (was not on Wednesday) and reinstalling the update for VV, I would run both EQ and MQ (as admin like before) and MQ would not give me any errors, but it just would not show up in game, like EQ was not even registering the software.

Last night Brainiac led me to this thread, so I changed EQ and MQ so they no longer ran as admin, booted up EQ, and before the login screen, I received this error:

---------------------------
EverQuest Crash Detected
---------------------------
MacroQuest caught a crash:

Process ID: 20008
Version: 3.1.1.2986
Location: RaiseException+0 (C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll+00000000000CBA80)

CrashID: c91b5f5e-c1f7-4e1c-be92-7c4304447c4a

You can either:

[RETRY] Continue execution and hope for the best.
[CANCEL] Write a crash dump and terminate EverQuest.

Retry Cancel

I am at work so I cannot run my debugger right now, but I can post my debugger later on tonight if this error code does not provide any information. I should also note I am running MQ on 2 different computers, and I am receiving errors like this on both computers. And I apologize in advance if this is the wrong thread to post this.

this does not appear to be related to "cant connect cause requires elevation" so i'm moving it out of this thread.
