Question - Keeping a pick from despawning?

Is there a rule on how many PCs need to be in a pick to stop it from despawning after a while (similar to how there's a rule for how many are needed to spawn a new pick)?

On TLP was enough people to have two groups going 9 I think. But I read during one of the update notes it could be set per zone as well.
Guess it's zone-dependent.. went into ROS Howling Stones and was able to spawn a second pick, boxing 9, but eventually got booted

It is not based on how many you have inside the /pick. It’s solely dependent on the population of the base zone. Once that number goes below the threshold, picks shut down.

^^^ this.
One big difference between a /pick closing and doing a manual /pick is when one closes you pop into the base zone right where you were in the /pick. It does NOT port you to the succor location like it does when you do a manual /pick.
