Running a KA group, 6 toons in group, 1 shaman outside group buffing and heal assisting, when shaman gets aggro, neither the puller nor the tank seem to want to help her with aggro as shes not in group, any suggestions?

I found a workaroundish for the time being, the shaman assists the tank for heals/buffs and sends pet for DPS, I set all the dps in group to assist the shamans pet, that way they still assist the tank via the pet, and also assist the shaman via the pet

KA doesn't really work that way. You'll want to take control of the tank in that situation and do something to get on the mob's aggro list. Once the tank is on the list, KA should take over from there.

Yeah, as SA_krycek noted, KissAssist is a kill-steal safety check. So if your tank/puller sees a mob is aggro on somebody not in the group, it will ignore that mob.

Transfer aggro via heal or buff: If you have a lowbie healer in your PL group, set them up to heal the shammy as an extended target. Put the shammy in their XTarget 1 slot in EQ and add this to their heal section, with at least one heal setup. (You could also add a buff/rune to heals I think, as long as they cast when the shammy has aggro it should add aggro to your PL groups Xtarget list. Put the buff in [Heals] though, not [Buffs] as that is out-of-combat stuff.)
Code:
[Heals]
XTarHeal=1
XTarHealList=1
