Question - KA Pulling Issues for brand new user

I want to thank everyone who contributes to this community. As someone who has no background whatsoever in programming or writing macros, I have found a lot of very helpful information in my first set up and running of KA.

The problem I am having at the moment: Sometimes when initially loading KA, the macro will seem to freeze before opening/closing the blocked buff window and starting to buff and/or pull. I usually have to cast a spell or attack a target, which seems to unfreeze the KA, which runs almost perfectly afterwards. I run into the same problem when KA stops to let the healer med. After healer meds to FM, KA seems to be frozen again. And again, after casting a spell or attacking a target, the macro runs again without a hitch.

I can't post .ini's or mq2 logs atm bc I'm at work, but if anyone is familiar with the problem or can give me some basic troubleshooting tips I would greatly appreciate it!!

The delay/freeze when starting up is normal. Kiss has to read and write stuff to your hard drive when starting up. I am not exactly sure why you are experiencing delays after medding. Are you usinsg any plugins that help with reducing graphic and cpu cycles like MQ2FPS or MQ2Viewport? These may help you if you are on a slower/older computer.

Not using any of those macros but will look into it. I am however using the EQ Playnice function in WINEQ2 to limit background rendering and ISBoxer. I also thought it might just be a lag issue and have waited to see if the puller will start looking for mobs again if I wait long enough but he will just sit there indefinitely it appears. However, when I do give a key press (I usually just cast his aura) then the macro springs back into action

Don't use playnice with mq2fps they are not compatible.

does mq2fps automatically run when using KA or does it have to be activated with /plugin mq2fps as with mq2navigation? I haven't run the mq2fps plugin before

It is loaded by default in oour compile not Kiss

/plugin mq2fps unload

to get ditch it

I sometimes forget that I am invisible and feel shame when after ten minutes I type /bcga //makemevisible and everything is perfect.

Thanks geEQ, invisibility was exactly my problem! Had the bard doing selo's song of travel in non-combat to avoid aggro during downtime while afk.
