Problem - KA and CWTN on the same computer

Hey guys, so i use Boxr commands to run my KA run (mage/bard) and my cwtn run (sk, monk, shaman, clr). i have 2 computers and use eqbc2. I love boxr because it cuts down on hotkeys among other things, but im having an issue with using my KA bard on the same computer as my cwtn monk, for example. and i think it has to do with the use/non use of mq2melee. the problem is : i have mq2melee set to not come on in the bard's KA file and im pretty sure it says it get unplugged, but something is not right.
last night, i went to run a formal dinner party and had the bard logged in and i logged her out and got the monk on and she just wouldnt follow any commands from boxr. got frustrated and went to log the monk out to see if camping and coming back would fix it, and it said a macro had been running, when i went to camp. with cwtn, this shouldnt happen im pretty sure and when i brought her back in, and typed /end, she worked again. i am fairly new to using KA and cwtn together, much less on the same computer, so does anyone have any suggestions for running these from the same cpu please? if i go into the macroquest.ini and set melee to 0, for some reason, it keeps going back to 1. looking for any help, thanks!

the cwtn plugins only unload mq2melee on toons that are running cwtn plugins. it does this as a noauto so it doesn't change your macroquest2.ini setting for mq2melee.

so it is not going to unload it on your bard or change your macroquest2.ini setting for if you have it load or not.

if you have your kissassist set to usemq2melee=1 then its going to load mq2melee for that toon.

almost all of my videos have a kissassist bard running, and i use mq2melee on my kiss bard

I would also 100% not try and run a conflicting macro on top of any toons you want to run cwtn plugins.

I can tell you that I run CWTN Enchanter, Shaman, SK, and Zerker along with KA Bard and Mage. I use Sic 115 Bard and Mage KA ini files and have no issues whatsoever with my group. You might want to change your .ini files for your KA members of your group and see if that helps. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would cause what you are experiencing as I am doing the same thing you are doing and having no issues at all. Remember, if you have CWTN plugins loaded on toons in your group and you camp without unloading the plugin, they will still be loaded with your return to play again. Just keep that in mind if you are changing anything up when you last played. This KA Bard ini from SiC's 115 Bard is what I am using and I have not changed any of his out of the box settings. I use 115 CoV Mage (only Mage in group) again, without changing any settings. I hope this helps

Not 100% sure if this is the case for you, but it sounds like KA was running on the monk?

If both KA and CWTN are running for a toon, boxr will only send commands to KA (it assumes that it you have both, then CWTN is paused, and KA is in control).

You can do /boxr debug on to get a log of the commands that boxr are executing.

If I'm reading the op right, the bard and monk are on the same account and you're swapping between them. So you had the bard in game with KA and mq2melee running. If you don't end macro before changing characters, the macro continues to run. So when your monk enters the game, loads mq2monk and unloads mq2melee, you create the conflict of running 2 automation things together.

i think that is it, yup. i didnt stop the macro. i had no idea they would conflict in that way. will try that next time, thanks so much for the replies!
