ATTENTION:

Plugin Authors, if your plugin is included in this compile, and you don't want it to be, send me a PM and I will remove it immediately.

*** REMEMBER: Commands listed below will not work unless you load the plugin that enables them first!!!

I have temporarily removed the non updated plugins from this list as they are no longer in the compile untill we get them fixed.

If there is a *before the plugin name in the list, I consider it to be an active hack.

/size 1-98

*WARNING* Do not go higher than /size 98. If you do, you'll have to delete your character file and do a complete file check with the EQ patcher.

MQ2Slave

Rich (BB code):
Inspired by Fibby's MQ2MasterMind. MQ2Mastermind was good because it let me control my bots, and have them run macros w/o actually looking at that screen and manually fiddle with buttons. I found I would also have situations where I'd want friends to control my toons, for situations where one of us would fall asleep etc...but MQ2MasterMind only allows 1 controller.

The next problem is each time the bot is run, you need to resend the password. When someone sends a blank password, like many do in eq, it would accept it. Not good for a random person checking to see if you've zoned sees "I will do you bidding"...

I made MQ2Slave to address all these issues.
To start it, type /plugin mq2slave
To add someone named "Mrmath" to the master list, type /addmaster mrmath
To remove "Mrmath" from the master list, you need to type /remmaster Mrmath
*Note* removing masters is case sensitive, adding them is not.
That is all there is to it, if any of the masters in the .ini file send the slave a tell starting with / then the slave will do it.

The list of masters is saved in the MQ2Slave.ini file which is completely customized the first time you run MQ2Slave and is edited via eq (you don't have to open the .ini file).

MQ2SpellHotkeys - allows a user to specify in an ini spell / hotkey combos

Usage
Rich (BB code):
    /autohotkey < on | off | list <...> | reload | addchat <chatname> | remchat <chatname> | setpopups <...> | save >
          /autohotkey list < all | state | chats | popups | hotkeys >
          /autohotkey setpopus < all | < NameOfPopUp > > < TRUE | FALSE >
Alias: /ahk is the alias for /autohotkey

-on: turns auto hotkey on

-off: turns auto hotkey off

-reload: reloads all info from the user's .ini in the release folder

-list: show list usage
---all: list all information
---state: show autohotkey state
---chats: show all default chat channels
---popups: show pop up states
---hotkeys: show spell / hotkeys combo

-addchat <chatname>: adds specified chat to the default chats list

-remchat <chatname>: removes specified chat from the default chats list

-setpopups < all | NameOfPopUp > < TRUE | FALSE >
---all: sets all popups
---NameOfPopUp: One of the categories such as OnHit or OnResist etc.

-save: saves the state (on or off) and default chats list to the .ini

Example INI
Rich (BB code):

MQ2SpellSearch - Look up spells by their emote or name with search command

Rich (BB code):
   Features:
     - Adds /spellsearch command that you can use to lookup a spell
by its name, or its casted emote text. Search is done on spell
data in active memory. This is an interpreter not a dictionary.
    - Spells are searched for by an invoked thread, which on most
machines helps avoid the 'freeze until search complete' syndrome
    - The dedicated window mode uses the default chatbox, no MQUI files needed

   Setup:
     - You need to setup your Settings section of your MQ2SpellSearch.ini
or the plugin will not give you more than 1 match ever. Ex:
      [Settings]
       UseWnd=1
       MaxResults=15
    - The window is NOT shown by default at all. When you use a
/spellsearch, the window will be visible.
(Press ESC to hide it, output is not lost)
    - Window settings are saved per server per char name in the ini,
only when the window class is destroyed. ie: game process does
a OnCleanUI() or plugin is unloaded.

When using the separate window, it looks like this:
spellsearch01.jpg

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Thank you for the speedy post as always great work. but getting CTD at log in and out no problems if started once in game though. tried removeing all plugins one by one and all together didnt seem to help. did have a couple instant crashes in-game while sitting in GH doing chat. seems to be mq2chatWnd causing issues here, removed it from ini runs great no ctd, loaded mq2chatwnd in and ctd. tried putting a new copy of Mq2chatwnd.dll in folder still ctd when loaded. also tried loading it while in game gets a error but not ctd, but forgot what it said.i also tried jmo's copy same thing there. im using dracknar's old ui from eq interface.

CTD after picking character on character selection screen. Thanks.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Those getting the CTD, post your Macroquest2.ini file here and let's see if we can get to the bottom of it. =)

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Post the ini and I will take a look at it and see what I can come up with.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

ok heres mine. I crash after loading in character screen and hitting enter world. Crash when I go to log out. Also crash when zoning after loaded.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Im also receiving a CTD after clicking a char to enter the world but im not good with computers really so i dont know how to put the link in here to the ini file.
sorry

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Ok something is seriously wrong. I loaded MQ2 while in a zone targeted a mob and EQ closed. Not gonna try MQ2 again till someone finds out whats up.

Ok normally when the game crashes you get the can't loggin in because you have a toon in game message. Didn't get that. Also the mobs was gone when I came back like 1 minute later no one in zone not even a namer.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Jigs21,

This might help you track it down. I was crashing with the Jigs21 MQ2, but I was able to get MQ2 running by doing the following.

1. I created a new folder and unzipped NAC's Nilla compile (which was posted last night, but for reasons unknown to me I can't seem to find it at the moment) into it. Perhaps the JMO compile I see posted now might work, too.

2. I copied relevant ini files into that folder from the folder where I had the previous Jigs compile (the December one). These included the ini files with my character names in them, my MacroQuest.ini file, MQ2ChatWnd.ini, MQ2HUD.ini, and MQ2Map.ini.

3. I copied in a copy of the latest MQ2DoCrack.ini from vladus2000's post of that here.

4. I tweaked the new MQ2DoCrack.ini to turn on those few features I use from that plugin.

5. I copied a handful of the few MQ2*.dll files from Jigs21's latest compile that I really use into the new folder -- mq2fps, mq2timestamp, mq2rez, mq2moveutils, mq2docrack, and mq2tracking.

Fired it up. Tested it. It works.

Hope that helps.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Im crashing also its one of the Plugin's I'm guessing haven't figured out which yet. Heres my InI file.

**I took my Ini. File out and used yours that came with the compile, and it crashed right away. Not sure what the problem would be now.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Hmmm ... the three MQ2*.dll files that I usually turn on which I DIDN'T copy into my new folder are mq2pop, mq2bandolier and mq2exchange. With them I was crashing, without them I'm not. Maybe it's one of those?

Or maybe not.

It's something to look at, anyway.

:)

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

This is simple Guys Use JMO's Compile it works great just a suggestion =/

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Ok. From looking at the two .ini files that were posted, try deleting the line that says MQ2Hud=MQ2Hud. Someone made a comment that the Hud file in my compile was causing spam in the chat box, it's possible that something changed in the structs that hasn't been caught yet which is causing Hud to act all screwey. Just a suggestion, but let's see if it works.

Thanks, but I can take it from here. Some people prefer to use the official Redguides compile because they are guaranteed a safe compile. Also, my compile has plugins Jmo's does not.

I would appreciate it if you keep the negative comments off my thread. Compiles have problems its the same with everyone, every now and then shit happens.

^ what he said. Jigs' Compile is the official one here. I post mine because I like to help out and as a smaller and less plugin-heavy alternative, but Jigs' has way more plugins. So, please no bashing Jigs, he puts a LOT of work into his compiles (not to mention Redguides in general) and I'm sure any kinks will be worked out soon.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Negative comments?? are you serious? that wasnt negative my man that was just a suggestion to those that were having a problem with yours until you fixed it. Seriously man reflect i didnt say anything negative there!

***What i said wasnt bashing nor did it suggest that jigs doesnt put alot of time into what he does. . .***

Perhaps you should trying thinking before you post. I asked people to post ini's and what was going on with the compile. After they did this, you chime in and say "its real simple guys, use jmo's it works" you forgot to leave out the "oh until jigs gets his fixed" you should realize compiling is a lot of work and I do this every time sony patches and in my personal opinion your post came off the wrong way.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

see that was my bad I saw Jmo post asking for the ini's i didnt see u ask for them as well right under that. . .my apoligies I can see how that looks negative now sorry

And i know how much work goes into compiling i have done it many times

True, true, and true. I plan to switch to your compile myself once this little problem has been sorted out.

You cannot find that post anymore because he was banned last night. You might want to remove his compile from your computer.

Anyways, I am now working to resolve the issues.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Running Jigs21 Compile v16.0 on two computers.

Computer 1: Vista Ultimate, Intel Quad core processor - Runs fine

Computer 2: Windows XP, AMD dual core x64 - CTD when entering world everytime, any toon.

Fresh downloads, old config files saved from previous versions.

Edit: I think it might be the UI files directory. The there are duplicate UI file directories on the one that worked: MQUI and UIFiles. Is the compile pointing to the correct one?

I removed mq2hud=mq2hud still crashing gonna try some others.

Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v16.0

Ok Spanky, it was just a thought really because of a comment someone else made about a messed up HUD.

Maybe try deleting the UIFiles folders from the compile on your comp and see if that works? Sounds like Zvi may be on to something.

I fixed the problem and a new zip is out. I tested this on 6 different computers and it works ....let me know if you have any other issues.

Heya folks,
1st of all thanks for all the efforts you put into all of that. Im still kinda new to MQ2 and learning alot, so when trying to get into some more plugins I got faced with the following 3 problems/questions. I hope you find time to write at least a few words:

Im trying to get MQ2Radar to work, but I cant seem to get that Radar_Window popping up for me somehow.
I have downloaded and unziped those 3 DSurface files, but where should I place em in? MQ2 folder? or uifiles? or EQ folder?
And then execute the exe I assume, but where comes my radar window from when I dont have a .xml file?
So what am I do to after executing DSurface and loading MQ2Radar plugin to see the window poppin up?

My CastTimerWindow shows way too long buff duration times.
For example Wunshi's Focus is shown to last 2:12:00 while it only lasts 92mins, and that is the cast for every spell, even the HoT differs in 1 tick (6secs) - any idea y?

Is the DPS for the DPS Window calculated off of MainChat-Window only? Or could I also have being calculated out of a 2nd chat window, so that my MainChat does not get spamed too much.
Further, does DPS_Plugin maybe even calculate together all Chat_Windows that are opened, like melee from 2nd chat and DoT from Main?

Thanks in advance for all your work
/bow
