Jewelry tradeskill question

I have a startflow stone (+4 int, attunable) I am wondering if I install this aug and attune it to my charactor will I still be able to use in tradeskills to improve the aug later. The charactor I am thinking of attunuing it too is my jewlery crafter so the no trade is not a issue to me. Thanks for any insight provided, I hate expermenting with hard to obtain items .

Once you attune it, you would be able to cut it I believe, but would NOT be able to add any enhancements to it from a shammy or Rogue, since it has become no-trade at that point.

I am not positive though on that, you may want to try it with a trash aug, and see if it works or not.
