There are lots of useful ways to use MQ2Twist that go above and beyond what it was intended for (bards twisting songs).

Ok so I put my pally up top to work on the boss and made one of the zerkers the MT and MA. That was working until the shm died to an add, which wasn't bad i just rezzed him with the pally, however after that the shm stopped healing the pally. The pally was taking some heavy hit and I could probably self heal thru them but not tabbing back to take care of the adds. Anyone know why the shm would have stopped healing the pally? I had the group setup at the bottom of the ramp so he was def in range.

Ok something happened this try that was annoying but I was able to work around it for a while...

I setup camp and the bottom of the ramp, ran my enc to the top to dps the boss and then turned on camp. I then turned pause on for the enc and byos. I loaded 5 nukes and 3 dots on the enc (I made a twist, but found I had just enough time to cast 10 spells ish on the boss per dead add.

I start the mission and first add dies smoothly. I hit my twist hotkey and works perfectly. Then he goes invuln and I hit my twist off key and walla it works. so far so good. I engage the 2nd add with my tank (nothing has changed) and the tank is the only one engaging the add. Yes I have MA and tank roles set, as I said it worked on the first add). I know from seeing this behavior that if I tab over, target the mob and hit attack that that toon will enter the fight. I do this on zerker, zerker, bst and we get the mob dead. I hit my twist and repeat. This starts making the kills slightly slower for the time to tab over target and attack. After about 3 or 4 cycles of this I stop using twist and just manually cast on the enc. Everything is going semi smoothly, altho the kill rate is slowing. The boss gets bored and starts adding in his aoe, which is fine at first because i am overgeared. I get an add that aggros shm just as the aoe goes off and shm dies. I now tank the add but tabbing over to attack with other toons gets hectic because I am trying to not die. I get that one dead and rez the shm. AoE goes off and another add pops because it took so long to kill last add. I wiped with boss at 43%.

I think this will work if I can figure out why the dps would no longer assist unless I manually did it. I assume it has something to do with the mechanics of the slippery sliding?

I use drive pally w/o any kissassist or anything. I have CWTN plugins for zerker, shm, bst, enc. (altho enc is in pause mode so I can control her).

I am going to try again next time by unloading the enc plugin and after each fight resetting my camp. I will keep you informed. It really was discouraging having to tab over to make them fight. I know if I don't unload enc plugin that each camp reset will cause problems with him up top.

OK here is an update...

First attempt worked beautifully except the enchanter spells were just too slow. I got the boss to 3% but his boredom aoe's started happening every few secs and we wiped.

Second attempt same strategy as first except I added in enc pet for more dmg. I was figuring that I would have to do some healing, but I was able to stay ahead of pet on aggro so the pet never took dmg. This attempt went much fast and boss was at 2% before his first boredom aoe. For those that do not know, after a certain amount of time, I didn't track this, the boss gets bored and casts an aoe. The longer he is bored the more often he casts the aoe. It seemed like the first few were about 30-45 seconds apart, but don't quote me on that. This time was a win and I got my acheesement on all 6 needed toons.

So I unloaded mq2enchanter and bcs. I kind of figured out the issue where my toons would no assist. It seems to do with the sliding around and it puts them out of camp radius. What I had to do for this was leave the group on follow even after setting a camp. I did a couple of times cancel the camp and move it back to the ramp.

Thank you all for the advice. I tried the twist option and I thnik it would have worked fine if my enc dps was higher, but I found it easier to just unload everything on the enc and tab to tank after 13 casts. That was the magic number for me to tab back and not have adds pile up. I did miss the count once and one of the zerkers died.

This was a horrible task and I never plan on boxing it ever again. I think with a real group or a real ranged dps it would be trivial and fast.

I did this a few days ago. Throw this into your config folder. You will need to make a copy for each toon and obviously change "YourToon" to your character's name. Also you will need to change the class shortname to match yours. This was a mages so where it says "mag" replace that to correspond to your class. MQEvents is included in VV so ingame type /events on. You can verify what events you have by typing /events list. I left Aten Ha Ra event in just incase you might need it. I take no credit for any of this. I am just passing along info that worked out nicely!

Easy ways to get mounts are to use Gold Tickets from loyalty tokens and once you have the set it can be used by all your alts.

Or see if Lord Seru is up and take him out. He drops a bridle.

If your in Sanctus Seru and he is not up then look and see if any of these four are up:

Praesertum Bikun
Praesertum Matpa
Praesertum Rhugol
Praesertum Vantorus

Each one also drops a bridle. In order not to get banished to the jail just send in your pet to attack first.

Solteris Event #6 has a mount as well. I have found it's a common drop as of late. The 4.5 day lockout is a bummer but you can be creative on running your guys through to have a shot on all of them each raid cycle.

To answer my own question, you have to get 6 says from 6 mobs. At least that was my experience. Took about an hour.

I can finish all the content required in 2 hours. Smoke trial of three is the easiest one.

Mage can CoH past everything. Drape of Shadows for the win.

Can you expand on this? I started doing just the prereqs and have more than two hours in just the first partisan quest for my six box. I do have a mage in the box.

For the fire missions, you can just invis a mage and run to the tables, fade with Drape of Shadows and then CoH the group. Saves hours of clearing.

Yes, I think that's the one.. it feels so random, sometimes the last stage or the ''massive twister'' is OP, it mez it has massive knockback or the bots get stuck in the lava.

That's impressive! I just ran my guys through it and it took about a week playing around 2 hours each day. I messed up a few tasks because I thought they were group not solo and had to repeat them...Finally done though! 6x Jann's Veil!

I have been looking for a definitive answer on how to run multiple toons through to get the mask. My main group did the entire progression. What is needed to run the rest of my alt groups through?

Do they need to do the pre-requisite of Fight Fire? Trial of Smoke? Can they just be taskadded? Does anyone have an idea?

Look for TBL > Paragon of the Burning Lands

It requires getting all the heroic missions in TBL completed:
- Hero of Stratos: Zephy'rs Flight
- Hero of the Plane of Smoke
- Hero of Empyr: Realms of Ash
- Hero of Doomfire, The burning lands
- Hero of Esianti: palace of the winds
- Hero of Mearatas: The Stone Demesne
- Hero of Aalishai: Palace of Embers
- Hero of the Camber of Tears
( GMM optional)

If you have the progression done and can request the missions it should be fairly trivial for most of these now.

See this is where I was so confused because I paid to have it done for 1 of my toons once. I remember sitting in Stratos while he did Fight Fire, I remember going in and talking to the guy in Plane of Smoke. Then I sat in the lobby or pok, and I only remember 4 taskadds. So assume I need to do the missions, just run them, kick existing members, taskadd the ones I want the veil on right before opening the chest?

I run this all the time. You can TA and not even zone in for all the missions. Plane of Smoke you'll need to have the person join your group when you get the task, and then you can boot them and pop a merc.

So theoretically, I could do my whole alt group for Smoke and just complete it as it is trivial. Then task adds for the others and run them through quick. Thanks!
