Depends on what you got to work with.

My six box crew of 115's finished it in like 2 days.

If you have a rouge you can use sneak and just pull the group missions without doing all the prog.
 
While it was sufficiently hard in TBL group gear, the extra 5 levels and gear makes a huge difference going back to it. When I was getting my SK up to speed last year (so undergeared/AA'd) I was able to do the entire line with just SK, Ranger, Enchanter +mercs. A full, proper group in reasonable gear and most of their important aa's covered shouldn't have any real issues anymore.

Make sure you read up and know what's coming, though, otherwise you may still end up with a wipe on your hands. It was not a very forgiving expansion, and a few of the missions were happy to prove it.
 
Nowadays you can just zerg it without issues.
 
I can finish all the content required in 2 hours. Smoke trial of three is the easiest one.

Mage can CoH past everything. Drape of Shadows for the win.

This is my next one up, just finished RoS progression (am doing all the Heroics since I wasn't around for them) so it's good to know this isn't too bad now.
 
from my understanding there can be factioning involved. if you have a rog or a halfling, you can sneak past those requirements. not sure how much time that saves, but its how i did it.
 
What is the best familiar buff?

Depends on if your FTP or Have all expansions
FTP is - Emperor Ganak Familiar - Obtained by completing the HEROS of Ring of Scale
If you own Claws of Veeshan - Ice Bound Ulthrok - Obtained by completing the HEROS of Claws of Veeshan
If you own Terror of Luclin - Personal hermic Source - Obtained by completing the HEROS of Terror of luclin

Did it two boxing with tank and healer merc during ToV before joining this community and it was seriously challenging but also engaging. Had a Tank friend help that was raid geared with a couple of the group missions to finish it up. Since joining RG, I've added three more to the group and they need their veils as well. Can't wait to wipe the floor with the blood of them floating mobs in TBL. Two days is an awesome play through time for the shear amount of progression needed but with my play time, I'd be happy to bang out a zone per evening when I play. Long story short, you should have no issues at all with your group at this point. Best of luck on your romp through all the red goo and more importantly, ENJOY!

As mentioned above, the faction part is the worst in order to hail the Flame guys for one of the quests in the progression, I managed to do it with sneak on my bard but it was a pain! Other than that its all fairly easy, probably only Hero of the Chamber of Tears is somewhat of a issue, and the damn snails in doomfire!

Been working on TBL progression (I know old player returning and just working on older content to get team good equipment.) I'm curious about Yanna's comment "If you have a rouge you can use sneak and just pull the group missions without doing all the prog." and what this means and/or how you would do it. New to Rogues.
 
Been working on this and the Sneak does not work, atleast not anymore.

Using a 115 SK (Gold), Cleric 110 (Gold), Bard (Gold) and cleric + 2 rogue mercs it was fairly easy, after the initial trial of three was completed, until the following missions: Delivery, Strange Magic and Remodeling. For those 3 my SK is not geared well enough yet. 300k HP and 7500 AC buffed.

On the Prince mission, go for theologist last and use a honed wurmslayer, which will make the adds easy to handle, as it mitigated almost all their dmg output. Fight the fireballs on the spawn points or regen will make you fail.

All missions and quest up until those 3 took me about a day and a half, mostly due to travelling time.

I'm currenly working on Ironing out the Legion in GMM, but it seems bugged. The mechanics does not aggro and if getting past them the busy workers does not spawn, only 3 out of 10. Anyone got any pointers on this mission?
 
I just got carried through all of the missions needed for the illusion. They were not very hard, but I am wanting to do all of the progression for my box crew and I know that I am only required to do one trial of smoke, but I have them all done except the one where you gotta kill the 2 adds at the bottom of the spiral and kill the boss when the adds are down. I haven't figured out a way to do that one yet using MQ2. I I really want that mask on my box crew of pally, enc, zerk x2, shm, bst.

You only need to do one smoke trial and can get the mask
 
For that one , just leave one toon up top in manually dps’ing the named from distance when he unlocks (he’s rooted and doesn’t summon). For all your other toons just have them burn adds when they pop on bottom. I usually do this with a necro up top as the dots stay on when he’s locked but thinking each should be just fine up there. This is easiest trial imo
 
Yes I understand about the leaving a toon on boss, but I don't have a ranged toon on any account other then my tank account :(

I want to do them all so I don't have to do a trial every few days or whatknot when I want to do the quests in smoke
 
Depending on how durable the dps is you can do it with a melee toon at 115. I did not have a range dps so I would beat it down with my zerker and just run out if he was low.

Drop 1 zerk, put Chanter up top with caster merc. The merc will keep the guy busy the entire time. Use pets from BST/SHA when able to attack top guy.

Yes the healer can get the dps up top if you fight right in the middle.
 
I started the event and let it time out. Then I ran my SK up top and unloaded all but mq2melee. I made a BER main tank and main assist. I parked all but 1 down below and popped mounts. Started the event with my SHM and killed first 2 spawns. Then I moved my SK into melee range, hit HT and then let her go while I drove the "tank" BER.

I think I will have to try some version of this. Maybe use a toon with no MQ2 stuff loaded. The problem I have been running into has been leaving one toon to do his own thing and then he tries to run to the main group because of MA issues. I might have convinced a 120 ranger to come dps the boss for me so I will check that first.

Instead of running kissassist or a cwtn plugin on your boss toon, just load the spells you'd want cast, load mq2twist, and issue the command /twist 1 2 3 4 5 6 (etc.)... that will twist (i.e. cast) whatever you have in those spell gems over and over and over sequentially until you issue the stop command.
 
Can even have two hotkeys on your driver toon that "/bct toonnameuptop //twist 1 2 3 4 5 6" .. and then when adds are up and boss is inactive, you can issue a "/bct toonnameuptop //stop twist" (if might be //twist stop ... I always forget). Since the upstairs toon isn't running kiss or a plugin, the target should never change, so you should just have to turn things on and off.
 
It has been a minute but I think I did a full /unload on my SK and alt tabbed in to hit some in game macro to fire off taps and crap each time the adds were down. I do remember trying a bunch of things before it worked.
