Item Editor!!!!

Ok I dont know if any of you know anything about the item editor 3.2 that mangoo created. I think Red or Xab may know so.

I am the lead gm on the cheaters reborn server. My server-op asked me to make special items for all the gm's who went through hard tests to become a GM and should get a reward. Now i downloaded the Item Editor 3.2, the PEQ velious DB and MYSQL. I need help for what to put in the options box that comes up when you click on the item editor application button. Im not sure what i have to do with the DB or MYSQL so i need ALOT of help.

Pretty easy

The info you type in is very easy

Host: localhost or 127.0.0.1
DB: Eq (or eqemu w/e you named it)
Username: Root (or w/e you picked)
Password: 123 (you picked this when you install mysql)

But if you have trouble with that just type this into the mysql promte

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO Root@localhost IDENTIFIED BY '123' WITH GRANT OPTION;

Ok i got it to work but now when i launch it there is no info anywhere, what do i do? I did load and found the load_system thing in mysql file with the DB.
But it just disappears when its done loading, unless the screen saver screwed it up.

The item editor at the moment is pretty dodgy. I'd suggest asking on the EQEmu forums (www.EQEmulator.net). mangoo hangs around, and there is a special category for support + stuff.

Quite afew jackasses in the eqemu community, but hey - the problem gets solved in the end!
Also , try checking the EQEmu IRC chat - download mIRC and go to /server irc.eqemulator.net , channel #support .

its a program for making items if you have your own emu server not eqlive.

Go to www.eqemulator.net if you want to try and make your own server

is there a better guide to making your own EQEmu server? the eqemulator one is kinda outta date i think cause it says to use Drawde's Worlddata 1.1 final and that doesnt exist anymore, plus wouldn't it just be easier to copy the EQ Trilology folder for everything?
