Question - Issues - Autoattack

Hello,

Need some help. Hoping someone with a little more knowledge of how these are functioning to troubleshoot.

Previous to install MQ2 and KA, I could target a mob and attack it. During the fight, I could hit my autoattack button, and it would stop attacking. Times for example I targetting the wrong mob and didn't wanna wake up a mezz... or get threat so i could turn it off...


Well, now that MQ2 and KA are there, I can't do the same. I seem to have to hit ESC

How do I generate a toggle button to turn off attack while still retaining the target?

/backoff will clear the target from the window as well.

Ok figured out the answer.

MQ2Melee will only correspond to the main MacroQuest.ini

In particular:
MELEE_Nrm=Z

Z functions the same way attack in game used to. so, just have to change that binding around and it will work fine.

Now... if only there was a way to reprogram that to a different key. darn
